Chapter 48 Insecure (1/2)

An kai had two more months to complete his course, but he was planning to head back to Roriland. life was becoming harder and harder every day. he wanted so bad to go and stay with Roline. he wished for time to run fasterthan it currently did.

Ami was the only person he talked to in Tria. they have been going for lunches together. it has always been Ami asking An kai out.

Ami, can I treat you to lunch today? I have something to ask you so, you won't be eating my wallet out for free. An kai texted Ami.

Today is a Monday, the first hearing of Josh's case. the trial was scheduled for 2 pm. butsince it had so many minor cases in it, it wasearied back to 9am on the same date and day.

people came in big numbers to witness everything by their own eyes. everyone waited to see how Josh and his boss were to get out this mess. the two didn't have a lawyer, Josh's father didn't even attend the hearing. but things ended so quickly!!

the hearing lasted for 40 minutes. the prosecutor asked everything in minutes, and Josh answered without fearing the people a round him.

it was broadcasted live. people within Roriland were able to get every scene loud and clear.

”it was solely my idea to kidnap and torture the girls. the one who died was from a humble family. they couldn't afford to pay the ransom so,I killed her and later took her to Mercy hospital gates. I only used Tinah to have their contacts. she's a friendly person, she knows most of her fellow students' contacts. I tricked her into giving them to me. she knew nothing about all this. I hope she can forgive me.

the hall was quite, the only sound heard was of Josh's voice.

the judge was only able to set the audience free without saying anything else.

people gradually exited the hall and went different ways.

let's go. the officers said as they walked towards the trial stand to lead Josh and Boss out but the later was unexpected!!

Josh snatched away one of the officers'gun and shoot himself right on the head. the later scene was of an ambulance taking Josh to the hospital.

boss was left in the middle of the mix. he looked puzzled at the sight of blood on the court floor.

news spread so fast. the emotionless father wentto pick his son's body at the hospital.

he went and apologized to Roline since Tinah wasn't awake yet.
