I reached for the glass and looked at it. It stank and made me retch.

”What is this …?” Why is it so smelly! ” I covered my nose with my hand and placed the glass on the table. ”You aren't trying to hurt me, are you?”

Mu Hua softly said, ”Why would I want to harm you? If you go against our agreement, then you'll die of diarrhea.”

”And if you break the agreement?” If she were to break the agreement, I wouldn't be able to do anything. In any case, I am doomed to die.

Mu Hua opened his mouth and spat out a red pill. He handed it over to me and said, ”This is my treasure and it's something I use for cultivation. If I break the agreement, you'll destroy this pill and I'll suffer a backlash.”

I looked at the pill in my hand. Was this pill so important? This grandaunt couldn't be lying to me, right? Moreover, she wasn't afraid that I would immediately destroy this pill.

”How is it? ”Whether or not I should think about it, there is a limit to my patience.”

”Alright then, it's settled then.” I kept the pill and lifted up my glass to drink it despite the stench. It felt as though I had drunk bitter grass tea. I almost teared up.

”Hmm, if you find that evil spirit, throw this on the ground. I will naturally rush over to help you.” Mu Hua turned around and returned to his human form. He reached into his drawer and took out a small glass bottle. Inside was a bottle of golden liquid.

I opened the lid of the bottle and took a deep breath. There was a faint fragrance in the air.

Mu Hua softly said, ”This thing can save you at a critical moment. Give me enough time to help you.”

Since things had come to this point, there was no need to talk about it anymore. Clapping hands to make an oath was like a business deal.

”Since we've come to an agreement, I will take my leave.”

”Won't you stay the night?” Mu Hua's coquettish face was especially alluring. If it wasn't for the fact that she was a ghost, I probably wouldn't have been able to hold it in.

I whispered to her, ”No, I'm a family member. I wouldn't dare to spend the night outside.”

Mu Hua laughed tenderly. ”Are you talking about that policewoman?” ”I can see that she looks very pale, and I'm afraid that time is running out.

”I know, there's nothing else. I'll go back first.” I reached out to open the door and walked out. It was drizzling outside and the wind was cold.

I couldn't help but tighten my grip on my clothes and hurry home.

”Ring, ring...” Ring, ring. The phone rang. I reached for my phone and saw that it was a call from Guan Rou.

”Hello …” When will you be back? ”

”I'm on my way right now. I'll be home soon.” Guan Rou became very gentle and very nice to me, but I didn't expect that my first love would end up with death.

”Kacha …” A bolt of lightning cut through the dark night sky, and raindrops the size of a bean fell on my body. I suddenly like the feeling of rain, can wash my soul.

”I'm back.” I took out the key and opened the door. Guan Rou came over and helped me take off my coat.

Guan Rou asked in a soft voice, ”Why did you come back so early? It's raining so heavily outside.”

I sat on the sofa and Guan Rou handed me a glass of water. ”It seems that your expression isn't right. Did something happen?”

”Nothing, I'm just a little tired.”

”If you're tired, go take a shower and rest. I've made hot water for you.” I reached out to grab Guan Rou's hand and hugged her waist from behind. ”I love you …”

”What happened to you today? Your words are so numb.”

”From the first time I saw you, I liked you. Do you think we could be considered as having fallen in love at first sight?”

”When did you become so good at talking?” Guan Rou raised her head and kissed me, then said softly, ”Go wash up and sleep. There are still a lot of things to do tomorrow.”

”Dang …” ”Dang!” The dull sound of the bell woke me from my sleep. I sat up and glanced at Guan Rou beside me. Luckily, she was still lying beside me. I was thirsty for a while, so I wanted to drink some water in the kitchen. I got up and got out of bed, opened the door, and just as I reached the kitchen, I saw two shadows flash past me.
