”Since you have nothing else, I'll head back first. I'll come see you tomorrow.” I got up and walked out of the ward and out of the hospital and home. Ling'er sat on the sofa and watched the children's program on TV. On TV, there were cartoons.

”Rest early. Don't look too late, I'm going to sleep.” I washed up and went back to my room. I lay on my bed and slept until dawn.

Before I could get up the next day, I felt something on top of me. I rolled over and felt something warm and furry on my hand.

When I opened my eyes, I saw a snow-white tail on my body. I sat up and saw that it was a white fox.

”Where did this fox come from?” I was so scared that I almost kicked it off. Luckily, I saw a face. It was Ling'er. Her butt had a furry tail.

Ling'er rubbed her eyes and pouted. ”What are you arguing about? I haven't slept enough.”
