When night came, there was a knock on the door. When I opened it, I saw that it was Chu Lingyun. She was yawning but she looked more energetic.

”It's you. What's the matter?”

”Xiao Ya and I were really exhausted. As we lay in bed, we fell asleep.” She continued, ”It's almost time to eat. Why don't we go out and eat together?”

I saw that it was already past 6 and it was time to eat. The first two times, these two girls treated me to food, but today, I made an exception and went back to work. Although I didn't earn much money from the shop a few days ago, I still had some money for a meal. I lit a few incense sticks of time for Tang Yufeng and took two hours off. Then, I took my coat and left the house with Chu Lingyun and Fang Ya.

”What do you two want to eat? I'll treat you today.”

Fang Ya's voice was a little weak as she said, ”I can't eat anything and my body is very tired. I really want to lie on the bed and sleep.”

Chu Lingyun followed up, ”Big Brother Liu, it's not easy to get you to treat us. We have to have some delicious food, so why don't we go have some steak?”

”Is the steak delicious? I've never tried it, but I can try it.” I took a closer look at the space between their eyebrows to make sure there weren't any more black air, so I relaxed.

The three of us sat down at a western restaurant and ordered three steaks and some specialties. It was also my first time eating a steak, so I didn't know how to use a knife or fork. It took me a long time to cut the beef. However, the two girls didn't seem to have any appetite. The steak on their plates hadn't been eaten at all.

”What's wrong with the two of you? Why aren't you eating? The steak is cold, so don't waste it!” I wiped the grease off my mouth with a tissue and took a sip of my drink. ”I'm not full yet. It tastes really good, but it's a little less.”

Chu Lingyun reached out her hand and pushed the steak in front of me. She said listlessly, ”Big Brother Liu, you should eat this too. Xiao Ya and I will have some fruit salad.”

I took the steak and ate it in a few bites. The two girls were still in high spirits a moment ago, but why did they suddenly wilt again?

”What's wrong with the two of you? Isn't it just a few days of travelling? Is there a need to be so tired?”

”I don't know. I'm very tired and I want to sleep.” I raised my head and looked at Chu Lingyun and Fang Ya. There was actually another mass of black qi between their eyebrows.

Fang Ya's eyes were about to droop. I'll think about it when I get back. When I paid the bill, I almost cried. The meal cost me more than a thousand yuan, and this was only a discount.

I caught a taxi and took the girls home. Chu Lingyun and Fang Ya seemed to be very tired and they seemed to be on top of me.

I helped them into the building and took the elevator up to take them home. The black Qi in between their brows did not dissipate. It seemed that it was not an ordinary ghost that had been wrapped around their bodies.

Forget it … It would be better to mind my own business if it was less trouble. I returned to my own house and looked at the time. Luckily, I returned early, otherwise that young mistress would have caused me trouble again.

I went to bed early, and in the middle of the night I heard a noise. I sat up abruptly and jumped out of bed.

He took the axe from under the pillow and walked out of the bedroom.

In the living room, there was a wandering soul sitting on the sofa, holding a pig's elbow.

I softly walked over and placed the axe horizontally in front of my chest. ”Where did this wandering soul come from? He even dares to steal food from me!”

”Ah …” The wild ghost suddenly turned around, his face turned green, and a thick black liquid flowed out of the corner of his mouth.

Two fangs stuck out from his mouth as he spat out a mouthful of black air, ”Where did this little brat come from?! How dare he interfere with my business!”

I was immediately alarmed. This isn't a wild ghost, it's an evil ghost …
