Mei Chuanqi knew that his words had made his grandfather sad. He immediately extended his right hand towards Feng Jingteng to say hello to him so that he could divert Mei Zhendong's attention: ”Hello, Colonel Feng, nice to be able to get to know you.”

Feng Jingteng held his hand, and said with a hooked lips: ”I'm also very happy to meet you.”

Mei Chuanqi retracted his hand. Unexpectedly, he was tightly held by Feng Jingteng, and was unable to pull it out no matter how hard he tried.

Since it wasn't good to pull his hand back in front of his grandfather, he could only let him hold it.

He was a man after all, and holding a hand wouldn't make him lose out. However, the damned Feng Jingteng was rubbing her index finger against his palm, making his heart itch unbearably.

Mei Chuanqi glared at Feng Jingteng fiercely, and said with a smile that did not reach his eyes: ”Colonel Feng, you are truly young and capable, to have already become a colonel at such a young age, your future prospects are limitless.”

Feng Jingteng's lips curved up: ”Chuanqi, you don't have to call me Jingteng. Of course, if you think it's troublesome to call me Jingteng, you can call me Teng.”

The corner of Mei Chuanqi's mouth twitched.

Who would be so disgusting as to make him feel relieved?

Mei Zhendong regained his composure, and laughed: ”Jingteng, I heard that you and the Third Young Master of the Wen Family had registered to be married yesterday, so at that time, don't forget to treat me to your wedding wine.”

Gedeng, Mei Chuanqi's heart suddenly skipped a beat and used all his strength to hold onto Feng Jingteng, signalling him not to speak carelessly.

Feng Jingteng seemed to not have noticed his suggestion, and said to Mei Zhendong while smiling: ”General, I have not registered my marriage with the Third Young Master of the Wen Family.”

Mei Zhendong was startled: ”Marriage has not been registered?”

”Hm!” Although I did not register with the Third Young Master of the Wen Family, … ”

Feng Jingteng paused in his words, and looked at Mei Chuanqi meaningfully.
