”Then you still have to sit down!”
Li Fan continued to remind Yin Xiaoru, ”Let's talk about this after Guan Wenbao arrives. Don't forget our plan B.”
”How would I know what plan B is! I don't like this crappy team of yours at all. It's not ideal or professional! I've almost had enough of you, and you don't care about anything but money! I was really blind back then, that's why I came looking for you! ”
With that, Yin Xiaoru stood up angrily and started walking out of the yard.
Li Fan quickly took out the money for his meal, placed it on the table, and chased after him.
”Young man, please coax your wife!”
The owner even called out kindly.
Li Fan rolled his eyes as he thought to himself, ”If I had such a carefree wife, wouldn't I die from anger?”
In order to live for a few more years, it was best to stay away from this girl! After this mission is over, stay away from him!
However, when Li Fan left the yard, he was surprised to find that Yin Xiaoru had gone missing! This foolish female flying thief, where did she run off to, relying on her outstanding lightness skills!
Li Fan was so angry that he almost died. How could this woman become a great thief? With her personality that couldn't hide anything, how could she have survived until now?
”Stupid woman! Idiot! Foolish! ”
Li Fan cursed for a while as he had a rough idea of where Yin Xiaoru had gone to. He asked the boss about the location of the Jin family, and then headed to the Jin family.
At this moment, Yin Xiaoru had reached a big tree near the Jin family. Yin Xiaoru gently pressed against the highest branch of the tree. The branch was very soft, but Yin Xiaoru seemed to be weightless. She merely swayed along with the branch and did not break off.
Yin Xiaoru felt uncomfortable. This Li Fan was too selfish and too arrogant! How could someone like him understand the kindness Elder Jin had shown him? In his eyes, money was the most important thing! Since he didn't want to come, he could save Mr. Jin by himself!
Yin Xiaoru looked at the courtyard of the Jin family and found that there was not a single person there. The courtyard was so large that it was as if it was a dead house, and there was not a single sound.
The dust in the yard had not been cleaned for a long time, and the fallen leaves were all over the yard. It was so quiet that not even the birds were willing to come and stay.
Yin Xiaoru's heart sank. Something had happened.
She looked around to make sure that there was no one around her before she spread her arms wide and jumped down from the tree. Like a bird, she landed lightly on top of Old Jin's house.
With a flip, she fell back into the courtyard. Both of her feet stepped on the fallen leaves, yet the fallen leaves did not make a sound, a testament to Yin Xiaoru's outstanding lightness skills.
No matter what, she had trained her martial arts well! Yin Xiaoru rubbed her hands together a few times and landed in front of Elder Jin's room. She leaned against the door and peered through the glass.
Old Mr. Jin was lying on the bed, looking as if he was in a deep sleep.
Yin Xiaoru looked around again, but there was no sign of anyone else. It seemed that the news was indeed false and that Elder Jin was fine. No matter how much power the Embroidered Uniform Guard had, they could not act against ordinary people. Since that was the case, it was time for him to fulfill his promise.
Yin Xiaoru pushed open the window gently and jumped into the room.
She came and went like a breeze, and so she came to the Buddha shrine and respectfully placed the Golden Buddha on it.
Seeing the return of the Golden Buddha, Old Mister Jin should have recovered by now. Yin Xiaoru could not help but feel a surge of warmth in her heart as she thought about the kindness Elder Jin had shown her. She walked softly over to Old Mr. Jin's bed to see how his benefactor looked like. However, when she approached, Elder Jin suddenly turned around. His hawk-like eyes stared at Yin Xiaoru's body, causing her to shiver.
”You're not Mr. Jin!”
”I'm an evil spirit that wants to take my life!”
the man said fiercely.
