It was unknown if this person really didn't understand, or if he was just faking it, but Zeng Yi couldn't take it anymore. He harrumphed coldly.

”Perhaps, someone like you has already been scolded to the point of losing all face?” Zeng Yi looked at that person and sneered twice, ”This is amazing, he's already this cheap, he really isn't simple!”

”Miss Ceng, there are some things I'm not here to tell you. I'm here to see Miss Liu, so I won't argue with you!”

Joseph had never had a good impression of Zeng Yi before. He only felt that she was jealous of the fact that she lacked some of the necessary female traits, but now that Zeng Yi had stopped her, he felt even more displeased. Looking at the expression in Zeng Yi's eyes, he didn't hide his disgust at all. He thought of himself as a gentleman, but this woman always had the ability to break down his chivalry.

”This is my house, are you sure you're not mistaken?!” Zeng Yi was baffled. How could there be such an arrogant man in this world?

I really don't understand. Chen Xiao, at any rate, is a more normal gentleman. Why does he have such a nondescript friend? How strange!

”I said it already, I'm not here to look for you!” He completely lost all patience and his sneer became even colder. ”Miss Ceng, there are some things that have nothing to do with you. Don't worry about them. Do you understand?”

To think that Zeng Yi had not been scared out of his wits. He looked at that person with a cold glint in his eyes.

Do you think I was scared?” I'm going to take care of this matter. I want to see what you can do to me. What a joke. Zeng Yi sneered, ”Why don't you tell me your purpose? Maybe I'll show you mercy and let you meet Cissy!” Zeng Yi's eyes shined brightly as he looked at that person with a guarded expression, ”Anyone with a discerning eye would know that Cissy and Shen Mo Chen are a couple. What, could it be that you're interested in Cissy?”

”What a joke!”

Joseph was trembling with anger.

He didn't think that this Zeng Yi was not only the head of the economy, but his face language skills were so great that no one dared to underestimate him.

”I just wanted to help Miss Liu!”

”You know it now. We don't need your help anymore. You don't need to come back in the future!”

”Godmother!” Anthea heard Zeng Yi's voice and thought that someone was looking for trouble. She hurriedly ran to the door and looked at Joseph with a guarded gaze. ”Mother, who is this uncle?”

Upon seeing An'an, Joseph's initial belly full of will-o '-the-wisp disappeared without a trace. He looked at An'an with a hint of a smile in his eyes.

”Are you safe?”

Anthea gave the man a polite smile.

”My mum doesn't want to see anyone, today's the day to rest!” An'an understood Zeng Yi's intentions, and his gaze became increasingly distant as he looked at him.

Joseph saw it and looked helpless. This was the child that Chen Xiao had taught him. His attitude towards strangers was terrifyingly cold. It had an indescribable resemblance to Chen Xiao. He only felt a sense of familiarity. The look in his eyes softened.
