”Shen Mo Chen.” Zeng Yi gnashed his teeth and glared at him.
”Let her sleep.” He gently laid her down on the bed and covered her with the blanket.
Then, his cold eyes swept over Zeng Yi.
The expression on Zeng Yi's face froze for a moment, and she shivered violently. When she looked over, Shen Mo Chen had already disappeared from the room.
Zeng Yi looked at the peaceful sleeping figure on the bed and didn't know whether it was a blessing or a curse for Liu Xi to follow Shen Jingchen.
Dr. Chen was waiting in the corridor.
”What's going on?” Shen Mo Chen glared at him.
”Mild depression, maybe Madam has been too emotional recently, plus the incident with Young Master, I can't accept it.” Doctor Chen's voice seemed to have become more ethereal in the silent corridor, as if it came from a distant place.
He then slammed his hand on Shen Jingchen's heart, causing his pupils to constrict as he asked in disbelief, ”Depressed?”
Dr. Chen nodded.
Shen Jingchen remained silent for a moment before rubbing his glabella irritably, ”Will she hurt herself?”
Even though he was an outsider to medicine, he knew that people with depression were accompanied by, in addition to psychological problems, minor birth, and worldly complications. He didn't know when Liuxi had the disease, but what he was most worried about was that she would hurt him.
”No, her desire to live is quite strong. Right now, it's mainly because of a change in her mentality.” Doctor Chen's voice was somewhat hesitant, ”In addition, there is something strange about her brain, as if she had passively memorized it.”
”Hmm?” Shen Mo Chen rubbed his moist palms as he questioned.
”I'm not sure either.” Dr. Chen said with a grave expression, ”But I'm sure that Madame's brain must have been touched by someone. That's why she was unable to release her pressure at this critical moment and became depressed.”
Shen Jingchen turned around and continued walking forward, his eyes flickering with uncertainty. ”Take care of Cissy first, don't let anything happen to her.”
After saying that, he quickly walked into the study, closed the door, took out his cell phone and dialed a number.
”You did it?” Shen Mo Chen asked in an unfriendly tone as soon as the call connected.
”Oh? ”What do you mean?” A fluent Mandarin came from the other side, his voice cold.
”Cissy's brain was passive.” Shen Mo Chen said affirmatively, ”It has something to do with you.”
The person on the other side fell silent for a moment before laughing out loud. A faint sound of laughter travelled through the microphone and reached Shen Jingchen's side.
Shen Jingchen lowered his eyes, hiding his overly cold eyes.
”I did it.” After the man smiled, he freely admitted it, his tone carrying a trace of being taken for granted.
”Joseph.” Shen Jingchen's voice was soft, but it sent chills down everyone's spines.
Joseph, who was facing him, also heard the danger in Angele's voice. He then said, ”The Wind Spirit is the best skill in the world. It will not cause any danger to Cissy.”
”Oh, really?” Shen Jingchen pursed his lips in disdain, but suddenly changed the topic, ”I met a girl recently. She's very interesting. Her name is very similar to yours. I think her name is …”
Shen Mo Chen hesitated for a moment, then suddenly thought, ”Yossi.”
