”You think of her as a good friend, but she might not be.” Gu Xi Yan's temper rose as he spoke in a strange tone.

When Lin Weiwei heard her husband's words, she ran away from Gu Xiyan and put her hand on her. ”You don't know anything, so don't speak carelessly.”

Liu Xixi could actually understand Gu Xi Yan's cold attitude towards him. After all, he had done the wrong thing.

Gu Xi Yan had returned after disappearing for six years. She was already very happy that she was able to let Weiwei meet him again.

”Weiwei, don't be angry with him. It's already late, you should quickly go back.” Liu Xixi carefully pushed Lin Weiwei into the front passenger seat. ”We'll meet again when we find another time.”

”But, what about you?” Lin Weiwei was worried that a person from Liuxi University would be wandering around the streets at night. She had seen the state he was in when he was eating just now.

”I'm fine …” I'm going to the hospital with my dad. ”

Gu Xiyan nodded goodbye to Liu Xixi, then turned around and entered the driver's seat. The car slowly started up, and soon only the rear part of the car was visible.

Until the taillights of Gu Xi Yan's car could no longer be seen. Liu Xixi stopped a car at the side of the road, then bent down and got into it. Just a moment ago, Lin Weiwei was by his side.

Was that the person she had met not long ago Shen Jingchen? The silence that had once been so close to her was now so far away that it was stifling in the pit of her stomach.

She patted the driver's seat. ”Uncle, can I trouble you to open the window?”

”Miss, are you not feeling well? Would you like me to take you to the hospital? ” The driver saw that something was wrong with Liu Xixi's face and was afraid that something bad was about to happen, so he said this out of concern.

Liu Xixi waved his hand, ”It's fine. You can take me to the Pingcheng Cancer Hospital.”

With that, she leaned back in her chair. The cold wind blew in through the window, making her chaotic mind feel slightly better.

Liu Xixi's eyes were empty. She didn't know why, but whenever she thought of Shen Mo Chen, she would feel a vague uneasiness. It was impossible to predict whether she would be happy or worried after returning from Toronto.

The taxi stopped steadily at the entrance of the oncology hospital. Liu Xi came back to his senses, paid the driver, and then stood by the side of the road for a while.

After she finished her thoughts, she entered the hospital.

Outside the ward, Liu Xixi heard the argument between Jiang Manwei and Liu Chengze from inside. It was so loud that Liu Xixi couldn't help but stop walking.

The door to the ward was ajar, so Liussi could clearly see what was going on inside.

”Brother Cheng, what are you hesitating for? Sign it now. ” Jiang Manwei earnestly brought out an agreement and placed it in front of Liu Chengze's bed.

”Let me think about it.” Liu Chengze's tone was full of helplessness.
