Liu Xixi walked over and greeted respectfully, ”Hello, Uncle Chen …”

She just knew that her mother was very good to her uncle, but after her mother passed away, they never saw each other again. Although she let Uncle Chen manage her mother's assets after she died, they hadn't seen each other even once in the past ten years, other than by phone and by email.

”Hello, Cissy. It's been so many years since we last met. You've already grown into a big girl.” Lawyer Chen motioned for Liu Xixi to sit down and handed the menu to Liu Xixi.

For some reason, Liuxi didn't hold back from ordering a cup of cappuccino for this strange uncle of hers. She then handed it over to the waiter.

”Have you really decided?” ”Your mother left it to you as an emergency,” he said.

”Uncle Chen, I know.” Liuxi lowered her eyes and a lonely expression appeared on her face. She also knew that this was something her mother had left for her to use in case of an unexpected situation. ”But I need this money now.”

”Alright then.” Lawyer Chen forced a smile, took out an agreement from his briefcase, and handed it over to Liuxi. ”I also guessed the reason why you came to find me. You have the same temper as your mom. This is something your mom left you, I have no reason to stop you.”

”Like mother, like daughter. Thank you uncle for understanding me.” Liu Xixi picked up the folder and felt the weight on her hands. With a cursory glance, she wrote down her name.

”You have to be happier than your mother. Your mother is so nice, but she left early. You have to know how to grasp your happiness.” Lawyer Chen meant it.

”Yes, I will.” Liu Xixi nodded, but she herself was not sure if she was qualified to be happy.

Happiness, was too extravagant for her. Just like what Liu Muxin said, she was just a redundant existence.

On the ground floor of Zhiyuan group, Liuxi looked at the skyscraper and unconsciously broke out in a cold sweat. She was scared.

If Shen Jingchen didn't believe her, then she didn't know where to go.
