On stage, the principal and Shen Jingchen's long speech was followed by thunderous applause from the audience.

”Good. Next, the president of our Student Union, Liu Xixi, will step up and offer the flower to our new manager, Mister Shen Mo Chen!”

”Cissy, get on the stage!” Liu Xixi was reminded from the surroundings.

Liuxi took a deep breath and steeled her heart. Forget it. I'll just have to put up a front and risk it all. Shen Mo Chen can't possibly make things difficult for her in front of so many people!

She enunciated the word ”school director” very clearly, reminding him of his current identity and that he should not act recklessly.

Shen Jingchen lowered his gaze and glanced at the flowers in Liu Xixi's arms before he accepted them.

Just as he was about to relax, he heard his voice again. ”What a coincidence, my wife. Her name is also Liussi.”

Liussi looked up at Shen Silchen, her almond-colored eyes filled with tension and irritation.
