” Father, wait. Let me ask him something” Then James turned towards Gilbert,” Why did you try to poison me?” Gilbert first looked frightened and then suddenly started laughing like a maniac ” I tried to poison you over a month with small quantities and you got immuned to that. Thus, I had to take some step to kill you”
This took everyone aback
” W-What? Jason was actually poisoned? Are you OK Jason?” both the parents of James asked him and started checking for any health issues. Jason started to tear up as he never got such familiar love as he was orphan in his previous life. Seeing that their son started crying they both panicked.
” I am fine as I am now immune to that level of poison but we need to know who wanted to kill me” Jason said and diverted the topic to the right direction but when they turned towards Gilbert he was already dead
”How did he died?” Hisui asked first seeing the dead man and then she looked towards James fearing if he got frightened which could turn into a trauma and after checking he was doing good she looked towards her husband for answers.
” He took poison when we started checking James. Looks like he said that in order to divert our attention from him.”Sylvian said followed by” I will also investigate about this matter as we need to know who was the one behind all this.”
Hisui said after hearing him,” From now on I will prepare our food and I don't want no for an answer”
”Yes.” Sylvian said just when she completed her sentence as she was smiling yet her eyes told otherwise.
” Haaah looks like coming days are going to be fun” James said while looking at his Father who was obeying his mother as if he was a robot ready for taking orders
