Chapter 34: An eye for an eye... (1/2)

The crowd of students at the Academic building's hallway could only witness a certain known blue-haired beauty marching forth vindictively as his foul mood was felt throughout the students, like a black aura radiating around, warning everyone within their vicinity not to approach the said figure.

Rin Grayson was seen with a look of utter irritation on his feminine face, an expression of utmost annoyance as he was accompanied by his three friends that were with him outside the Butterfly dormitory just a few moments earlier.

The boy's pace turns quicker, leaving a path of loud footsteps signaling that what action he is going to partake is anything but the definition of subtle in it.

Rin immediately halted his tracks, now finding himself at his intended location, a classroom that is located within the First-year section of the building.

”Class 1-C.” Rin read the words out with a bitter distaste in his mouth out loud as the letters were imprinted just above the door that the boy is currently in front. ”So this is the class where the pest resides right?”

”Y-yeah.” Meiko stuttered as she nodded in response, feeling a bit weirded out at how Rin is acting rather dark in this instance. ”What are you going to do Rina?”

”I've been wondering that too.” Keana voiced herself out as she eyed Rin with a curious look. ”Don't tell me that you are just going to barge in just like that and openly take your revenge against her? Erica Von'laden, no matter how the bitch and bully she is, is also someone that you should not be easily offending with. If I don't know any better, I could swear on the look on your face that you are attempting to commit some sort of murder here!!”

”Keana is right Rina.” Kana agreed with the violet-haired girl as the former joins in with the conversation to convince Rin to not get this situation out of hand. ”Her father, Edmund Von'laden is a very influential noble who holds a very high and significant ranking in the board of Directors within my grandfather's company. As such, that privilege naturally extends to his eldest daughter as they also own various businesses in the city.”

As the trio made their pleas and hope that Rin would calm himself down and listen to their reasons, the boy in disguise could only shake his head at their statements, a sly grin now forming on his face.

”Heh, don't worry.” Rin said to the three. ”I can handle myself quite easily and I'll be damn if I'm not going to give a piece of my mind to the pest who hides herself behind her daddy's name.”

”But you don't understand Rin!!” Kana's eyes widen as she tapped the boy's shoulders. ”Offending a noble is not that simple. It could make your life here at the Academy very complicated as Von'laden now have every reason for her to bring you down at every opportunity that she can grab on.”

Rin merely looks at Kana and much to the latter's surprise, an aspect of brimming confidence overflows all over the boy's system, his expression, showing not even a single shred of fear as he grinned widely at the heiress and slowly put her hands down in response.

”Heh, I'll be fine” Rin smirk. ”I'm just here to give her some taste of her own medicine. It seems that a dodge ball being thrown right almost at her cocky face is not enough to teach some humility out of her.”

And afterward, Rin suddenly burst right forth at the door as the whole class of 1-C turned their attention to the new intruder.

Rin with a mischievous expression looked around the mouth agape faces of the class as he said while cracking his knuckles for them to hear bones cracking.

The whole class of 1-C had their jaws drop at seeing a small framed girl with a look that someone had just pissed her off and won't get away unscathed.

”Erica Von'Insect.” Rin uttered his target's name, each syllables being worded with nothing but disgust and unamusement like he was about to puke. ”Where...is...she?”

The class realized that this was Rina Mayfield that they are witnessing at this very moment, a girl despite only a few days old of this institution has made a name for herself. They could only turn their heads towards one another, contemplating whether they should give away the position of the girl being mentioned.
