The little guy was chirping noisily on Qiao Nan's palm, gesticulating nonstop.

”You mean, you're saving someone?” The little mouse could understand Qiao Nan's words, but she could not say it out. It took a long time before Qiao Nan managed to understand it.

Hearing that, the little mouse nodded her head, and looked at Qiao Nan, hoping to help it.

”Little brother, is it convenient?”

They found the little white mouse's footprints near the house, and most likely they came in here.

Hearing the noise from outside, the little mouse squeaked in fear and kept on sneaking into Qiao Nan's sleeve.

There were over thirty men standing outside the ancient residence. The torches lit up the place as if it was daytime.

All of them held killing weapons as they nervously watched the youth walk out of the ancient house.

”Sorry to disturb your rest, little brother. I wonder if you saw a little demonic beast run in.” Zhao Gang's attitude was very respectful, afraid that he would anger the young man in front of him. Otherwise, his anger was not something that this small town could handle.

”You mean him?”

Qiao Nan spread out his hands, and the little fellow peeked its head out from inside its sleeves and looked outside.

Zhao Gang loudly berated the people behind him, but he quietly stepped back to open up a distance between him and Qiao Nan.

Qiao Nan laughed coldly. This was not scolding them at all, but a reminder that if he did not hand over the little fellow, he would be shot into a sieve immediately.
