45 Human King, Xargon Odin (2/2)

Although he's someone that only help others if there's a benefit, but that's not completely true all the time. Because depending on his mood, sometimes he may even help others without expecting anything in return. But for the most part, he wouldn't help without benefiting anything.

One week later...

In Azurion City inside the royal palace throne room, a guard came rushing in through the throne's door with sweat on his face.

”Your majesty! Your majesty! Bad news! The 5 Dragon Royal Knights from the RedStar Kingdom wants to see you now! Also, they said that you can't refuse as it is an urgent matter,” said the guard while breathing heavily.

”What?!” said Xargon Odin, the King of BlueStar Kingdom.

At the moment, Xargon is having a meeting with the 5 guild masters from the top 5 guilds. But now that someone from the RedStar Kingdom came, so he can't refuse. Plus, it's not just anyone from the RedStar Kingdom, but a Royal Knight, and the word ”Royal” Knight,” mean it has something to do with the royal family of RedStar Kingdom.

Of course, even the 5 guild masters were shocked as well to hear that the Royal Knights from the RedStar Kingdom are here. Also, since the Crimson Tiger Guild is one of the top 5 guilds, therefore Terasia was there as well in the royal throne room.

”Xargon-sama, your order please!” said the guard urgently.

”Of course let them in now!” said Xargon without hesitation while sweating a bit worriedly.

Although Xargon Odin is a powerful Human King, but in front of a Dragon King, he's nothing but a child. Since after all, the human race is the weakest race out of all the races out there in this world, so that's why Xargon has to be careful not to offend other races from other kingdoms.

It is unknown how many races exist in this world, but one thing everyone knows is that out of all the races out there, the strongest one is the Demon and the Dragon race. These are the two ”Apex” races that sit at the top of the food chain for who knows how many millennium years, and none can do anything about it.

Since they are the only two Apex races, so there are always conflicts between them as they are trying to rule one another. In fact, 10 millennium years ago, there was a great war between the Demon and the Dragon race, but the result was nobody won, it was a tie.

Although it was a tie, but both sides suffered great damaged and many of their people had died because of the great war. In the end, they decided to sign a peace treaty as they had enough of losing too many people and resources, thus they wanted peace.

However, peace don't last forever because lately, the Demon race is getting stronger and the Dragon race is worried. For the last 10 millenniums, these two races have more or less equal in power, but now not anymore. Thus it's about time that the Demon race will start another war again.

Eventually, the 5 Royal Knights from the RedStar Kingdom entered the royal palace and is now in the throne room meeting with the King. Of course, the 5 guild masters were there as well as they were curious to know what's the 5 Royal Knights are here for.

”Sorry to disturb you, your majesty. But this is an urgent matter and we need your help now, so I hope that you can help us,” said one of the 5 Royal Knights while doing a palm hold fist as a way to show his respect.

”Hmm, what is this urgent matter you are talking about?” said Xargon curiously.

With that said, the Royal Knight leader then explained and told Xargon that they need help regarding Nara's disappearance. Since Xargon is the King of BlueStar Kingdom, so they believe that relying on Xargon will be quicker rather than they alone searching for the entire kingdom just to find Nara.

Of course, Xargon didn't refuse and gladly said that he will help them. So without delay, Xargon ordered his men to search for Nara right away. As for the 5 guild masters, they too help out as well and sent their people to look for Nara.

”Thank you for your help King Xargon. If that's the case, then we will not bother you any longer,” said the Royal Knight leader respectfully and after that, he and his subordinates then left and continue their search on Nara again.

Two weeks later...

Finally, Prime and Nara could see something ahead of them, and it looks like they've arrived at the outskirt of Azurion City.

”Hohoho! We're almost there everyone! Just a little bit more before we reach our destination,” said the skyship Captain happily as he was trying to hype everyone.
