Chapter 1033 - One Emperor, Dawn (2/2)

Silence fell.

Just when the group of people became dispirited and became quiet again, a figure suddenly walked in slowly from outside the hall with a straight back and a dazzling light.

Everyone in the group responded!

“One Emperor!”

“One Emperor!”

Phantasmal Shadow had been sitting at the seat of honor in the room all this while without saying a single thing. Her expression finally changed, and she got up from her seat to go up to One Emperor, who walked in with steady footsteps. She forced herself to smile.

“You’re here.”

“Ah, everyone is here.”

One Emperor looked around with a calm expression, and his tone was relaxed.

“I heard from my subordinates that you’re here, but you went straight to the sect prison, which is why I didn’t bother you. One Emperor, did you come here with a plan this time?’

This period of time had caused Phantasmal Shadow to feel a little exhausted mentally and physically. When she saw One Emperor, she felt as if she had found a pillar of strength that could support her, and to whom she could depend on.

When they heard Phantasmal Shadow’s question, the group of Wind Assault Tower higher ups in the hall had fervent looks on their faces as they looked over.

Right now, what they wanted to hear the most was the possibility of a change for the better.

However, Class One Hall and more than ten Beijing sects had locked down the city tightly. They had even enforced martial law here. Wind Assault Tower simply could not find any way to break out of the situation.

The only person who could bring them good news and allow them to vent their frustrations was One Emperor when he brought with him his plans for revenge.

One Emperor’s gaze landed on Phantasmal Shadow’s blurry face for a few seconds.

“I don’t have a plan. My main goal for coming here this time is to meet that person.”

Silence.

The group had disappointment appear on their faces.

They were not concerned by the person One Emperor wanted to see.

Only Phantasmal Shadow stared into One Emperor’s eyes. For some reason, she felt that One Emperor was in a very relaxed state. In fact, the sharp aura on him did not seem to have been reduced, but had grown stronger!

“Did you see him?” Phantasmal Shadow demanded.

One Emperor smiled and nodded. “He exceeded my expectations.”

“The situation is good?” Phantasmal Shadow’s eyes lit up.

One Emperor’s smile did not fade away. He said, “Yeah. It’s really good.”

The group of Wind Assault Tower higher ups were finally able to sense joy between the two based on their mysterious conversation. They could not help but have their curiosity sparked, and they were not a little interested in the person these two spoke of.

“Tower master, who are you talking about?”

While they knew that the important person who went into their sect prison was someone Phantasmal Shadow had personally arranged to be there, they still did not know who exactly he was.

However, since One Emperor had been lured over and One Emperor as well as Phantasmal Shadow paid so much attention to him, that person might not be some normal person.

“A hope for us.” Phantasmal Shadow did not immediately answer them, because when Happy entered Wind Assault Tower’s headquarters, he already told her that he did not wish for the news of his arrival to be known by anyone aside from One Emperor, Wandering Know-it-all, and Phantasmal Shadow.

Phantasmal Shadow could still keep his presence here a secret.

One Emperor’s answer allowed Phantasmal Shadow to recover by a huge degree from his dejection.

If Happy could have his strength acknowledged so firmly by One Emperor, it meant that what Happy previously stated was not fake.

However, this was a battle that concerned Wind Assault Tower’s survival as well as the lifeline of the Chinese server. One person’s strength was usually not enough to determine who would be the victor of a war.

After her initial joy, Phantasmal Shadow regained her rationality, and she instinctively sent a private message to One Emperor.

“I know that Happy is very strong. How certain are you of holding Evil Emperor back if you and Happy work together against him? Or should I say, how long can both of you hold him back?”

Phantasmal Shadow’s plan right from the start was to have One Emperor and Happy work together to fight against Evil Emperor before she had all the forces in the Chinese server fight against Class One Hall and her allies.

If One Emperor and Happy did not fall too quickly, perhaps the Chinese server would still have a chance of survival. After all, Wind Assault Tower still had a lot of Illusion Life and Death Pills left in their storage.

As long as both of them could last for a while and hold Evil Emperor back to guarantee Wind Assault Tower would not face a destructive charge, the Chinese server would definitely be able to gradually send help over.

One Emperor said nothing. When he heard this, his gaze remained for a few seconds on Phantasmal Shadow’s face. Then, he replied earnestly but gravely, “I’m not certain either. I cannot give detailed information, because we don’t know just how strong Evil Emperor has become.”

“Is that so?” Phantasmal Shadow was slightly disappointed. She originally thought that when One Emperor mentioned Happy so happily, it meant that he could provide a huge help to him, and she thought that they could turn the tides.

“You don’t have to worry.” One Emperor could naturally tell just what Phantasmal Shadow was worried about, and without batting an eyelid, he sent her a private message, “We can’t make a judgment right now because we don’t know how strong Evil Emperor has become, and because I don’t know Happy’s limits.”

“Huh?” Phantasmal Shadow looked up in surprise and stared at One Emperor in disbelief. “Didn’t I fight him?”

“We did fight, but I didn’t manage to gauge his full strength.”

One Emperor’s brief answer caused Phantasmal Shadow’s heart to tremble violently!
