At the instant they rushed into the tunnel, Phantasmal Shadow wanted to thank Happy, but she did not expect that a surge of cold air would rush into her lungs. Her pretty face turned pale, and she subconsciously shuddered. Her qi froze on the spot because of the cold that invaded her body, and it even went straight to her Dantian region. If her qi had not been circulating continuously, she might have been frozen on the spot.

'It's too cold!'

The others were also so cold that they curled up on themselves. They kept on circulating their qi to fight against the chill, and they simply had no time or energy to talk. They fought against the cold around them with pale lips and chattering teeth so that their blood would not freeze.

Happy was in a better condition. With Nine Yang Divine Skill protecting him, he was safe.

The others had a layer of clear white ice quickly form on their bodies, and white vapor could even be seen coming out of their hair.

Some of the Wind Assault Tower elites who had weaker qi were in a really bad condition. Once their qi was no longer enough, their movements stiffened, and even their feet were covered in ice. They had to use up a lot of strength to move. The requirements for qi by then were even greater, but they could not even use their weapons, or else, even their hands would freeze.

When Happy saw that, he quietly circulated Nine Yang Divine Skill!

His qi rushed into his Dantian region, and it started boiling like boiling water. Layers of red light and heat that could be seen with a naked eye swiftly appeared around him.

Even though doing this seemed useless, Happy was able to create some warmth in the cold, and the people around him were suddenly able to release a breath of relief after feeling suffocated.

Phantasmal Shadow and her group watched Happy in surprised delight as he shone like a furnace. It was as if they just discovered a heater in winter, and they subconsciously surrounded him.

Happy was still urging his qi to swim outward, and the heat gradually gathered from his body to his arms, then slowly spread outward. The fire red light became clearer and brighter.

The heat around it also increased.

The ice at his feet melted away to leave behind a footprint!

The ice on the people around him also melted away, and they gradually regained their qi circulation speed and their mobility.

”Let's go.”

Happy did not say anything else. He left behind two simple words and walked in front.

Phantasmal Shadow and the others might not be from Mu Clan, but they unanimously followed behind him. They trailed in the warm region he created and entered the depths of the ice tunnel.

Phantasmal Shadow looked around before she broke the silence in the party as if she came to a realization. ”This shouldn't be natural. It must be a structure Sky Demon Sect intentionally created to fight against the Fire Qilin…”

”True.”

Momo cast Phantasmal Shadow a glance and nodded.

The floor was smooth, and the chill piercing to the bones. Even though the group had Nine Yang Divine Skill opening the path for them, it was still difficult for them to move forward. They were very slow.

”There was an evil cult great elder and the Fire Qilin in the other tunnel, so there's no way to guess what is over here,” Momo said indifferently. She sounded as if she was just calling the others' attention to it, but in truth, she was reminding Happy not to waste too much qi.

Even though they seemed like they were currently together with Wind Assault Tower, there was still a high chance that they would run into danger. It would not be good if they had many burdens with them.

”There'll definitely be danger.” Happy understood the underlying meaning behind Momo's gaze, and he answered heartily without batting an eye. ”But unless we run into Myth Realm elites in such a horrible environment, no one would be able to bring out their full strength. Don't worry. We just need to continue moving forward. If we really run into any danger, we should be able to handle it.”

”True.” Wu Kuo nodded in agreement.

Phantasmal Shadow and the others followed beside Happy and did not say anything. Once they were safe, they remembered the matter of running into the Fire Qilin in the tunnel, along with their dead friend, and they felt really gloomy.

Even though they had gained a lot in their trip to Sky Demon Sect, it would not mean much if they sacrificed something in turn and did not have any of their own die. However, one of them had died, and the rewards they gained previously instantly became insignificant.
