358 A Familiar Person (1/2)

A group of four people walked out of the bamboo forest in a majestic gait. They quickly looked around, and their eyes lit up. One of them could not help but let out a proclamation.

”The lineup of people coming to the royal mausoleum has become better and better…”

The three other people beside him were clearly veterans who had wandered around a lot in the game. They were very familiar with many of the people present. While looking around, they nodded.

”Indeed, it's different every day. When we first came here, there were only around a dozen faces, and only Iron Arm Divine Ape, Jade Finger Cups, and Flute in Cave were slightly stronger. Now? Sigh… we're old.”

While they walked, they entered the crowd and arrived at the edge of the entrance.

”Tang Sect's Sanshou King[1].”

”Beggar's Sect Twelfth Butler.”

”Quite a number of people from the Famous People Rank are here.”

”There are also more and more players coming from the Phoenix and Dragon Rank. All of them are here for the masterpieces in the royal mausoleum. Looks like we'll have to compete with each other today.”

”Compete?”

A few people around them who heard their conversation chuckled with derision, but they did not say anything. Instead, they just held their weapons with cold expressions. They stood around arrogantly without regarding their competitors with any importance.

The situation right then was different. The people who constantly played in the royal mausoleum might not know the changes in the world around them. To obtain more masterpieces, a number of people had gathered a full set of first-echelon supreme grade masterpieces.

This sort of equipment would make it extremely easy for them to deal with the ninjas. They would have absolutely no problem in making a name for themselves in the royal mausoleum…

Just when the group took its position, the sound of something travelling very quickly came from the bamboo forest.

All the people in the area were Mystical Realm players, and they had their qi placed in their eyes and ears. They quickly reacted to the situation and looked over to the side warily.

A pretty purplish-red figure shot out from the bamboo forest at an astonishing speed. It was like an arrow shot from a bow above the crowd's head.

'Lie down!'

The figure seemed to be running away. Once the woman landed, she instantly shot into the part of the crowd with the most people and vanished from the players' gazes.

”Come out, wench!”

A cold bark rose came from the bamboo forest, and before it faded away, the speaker arrived. A red figure flew down from the sky like an Immortal. The man stopped above the people in a bizarre manner and looked down to survey the area coldly with his long and narrow eyes. He gave an intangible amount of pressure to the people below him.

”Cold Moon Palace, Lu Mingyue…”

The players underneath were at first rather displeased with the person stopping above their heads, but when they saw the garish attire and the way the person stopped in the air, they sucked in cold breaths and let out faint cries of surprise.

”Did you see a woman with a long, purple-red gown run here just now?”

His qi circulated in his Dantian region, and a charming, feminine voice spread through the area. It reached everyone's ears.

However, since most of the people knew that Lu Mingyue was a man, his charming, feminine voice only made them nauseous.

No one acknowledged the man with the large red robe and thick makeup in the air. After all, the people below him had various statuses and pride. Even if Lu Mingyue had great fame, they did not choose to expose the woman's location. They ignored him while continuing to wait for the royal mausoleum to be activated.

Lu Mingyue also noticed that the situation was different than he expected, and that everyone's aura was not weak!

Even though he was filled with anger, he did not dare to become a target of scorn.

”Hmph, did you actually think that you can hide like this?”

Lu Mingyue looked around the area from the sky. When no one answered him, he could not find a way to immediately locate the woman who had ambushed him in the dark.

He was so exasperated that he gnashed his teeth. A fierce glare shone in his eyes, but he could only use the most ancient method to search for her—by looking through the crowd column by column from the left to the right.

Drip.

Blood slowly dripped down a woman's long, light yellow gown.

She seemed to have been injured pretty badly, and her face was pale because she had lost too much blood. She ate a medicinal pill and gritted her teeth to make sure that she showed no weakness. She did not even dare to raise her head.
