202 Dead She-wolf (1/2)

Red Dust's arrival both surprised and delighted Happy and his party. They were shocked to learn that the expedition group from Chivalry Sect had perished because of Situ Luoyu's scheme, and only Red Dust got to survive out of sheer luck after he managed to hide in Dead She-wolf's chamber. The second part of the story left them happy because Red Dust was at Mystical Realm. He only needed to rest for a while before he could be of great help.

Red Dust told the four of them that since he had been avoiding the elites from the two sects to not be killed, he did not even have the time to treat his wounds and circulate his qi. He had, in fact, been prepared to die in Dead She-wolf's chamber, but to his surprise, he did not attract Dead She-wolf's attention, which was why he had been waiting by the edge of the chamber until then.

When Happy heard his story, he sighed in relief. If Red Dust had died, Chivalry Sect would have lost one of its great fighters for the next month, and Fallen Feathers Sect would still be able to oppress them. If that happened, the actions of Happy and his party in Fox Cave and the Pear Blossom Storm Needles he had used would not make a serious impact on the original storyline.

As long as Red Dust survived, it would be a great disaster to Fallen Feathers Sect, which suffered great damage in their fighting ability!

There were only a few top-tier fighters in Fallen Feathers Sect. Next time, when Red Dust visited them, unless Fallen Feathers Sect exposed their connection to Class One Hall ahead of time or asked for help, they would be unable to do anything against Chivalry Sect.

It would also become very hard for them to fight against Chivalry Sect in Fox Cave in the future.

When Happy thought of that, he felt comforted. He exchanged a glance with All-powerful Medicinal Stone before he asked Red Dust to circulate his qi and treat his injuries on the spot.

With Happy and his party providing protection, Red Dust soon recovered from all his injuries. Only a few internal and external ones were left, but they could not be healed immediately.

Happy was not stingy. He brought out a Dew Pill and had Red Dust take it.

Dew Pills could not only get rid of certain internal injuries and nourish the body, but they also had the effect of swiftly healing external injuries. Right after Red Dust ate the medicinal pill, he recovered completely!

”Um… pardon me for asking, but where did you get this medicinal pill?”

”Herbalists can create them.”

Dew Pills were not a secret, and Happy did not have any intention of making it into one.

”It's a good item!”

Once he personally experienced the benefits brought by a Dew Pill, Red Dust naturally understood the importance of such medicinal pills. 'If I can get such pills before we go to war against Situ Luoyu, my sect members will not be wiped out no matter what, and even if we can't counterattack a group of enemies, we could at least ensure that a portion of us escape.'

”Don't start thinking too far ahead.”

Happy knew what Red Dust thought about at the moment he saw his expression. He decided to be a wet blanket without hesitation and said, ”The cost for one Dew Pill is up to two thousand taels of silver crumbs, and if you add up the time to make one and the failure rate, you'll find that the commitment during the early stages of creating them is very great. The cost for each pill will be near three thousand taels of silver crumbs. There isn't any guild who can store this medicinal pill in bulk for the time being.”

Red Dust found himself speechless. When he heard Happy tell him the cost, he instantly became dejected.

Three thousand taels of silver crumbs for a single-use item was a little too high. A good player would only have a few pills on standby if they had extra money after buying all the necessary equipment. A normal player would have a hard time saving up money to buy just one pill.

Even though Red Dust really wanted to ask Happy just how many pills he had, he did not in the end, since there really was no need for him to do it.

”Happy, before we deal with Dead She-wolf, I think we need to get rid of the bastards in the second level of Fox Cave.”

”Hmm?”

”You killed only a small portion of Fallen Feathers Sect and Perpetual Joy Sect. There are still plenty of their people moving about. If we had to fight them right now, none of us over here would be afraid of them, but I'm worried that they'll come barging in when we're fighting against Dead She-wolf.”
