Chapter 378 - What A Sight! (2/2)
There's danger lurking everywhere at this time.
She followed the woman in silence, she was concerned about her safety.
The drunk woman turned into a dark corner, a car was following her, then the car stopped and the driver wearing a baseball cap covering his head get out of the car and approached the woman.
”Hey, Miss. Do you, want a ride? I can give you one. I will take you to your home,” he offered.
The drunk woman smiled at him. ”Wo..w, you're s...such a g...gentleman,” she replied slurring in her words and looked at his vehicle. ”Nice...c...car...!”
”Thank you, Miss, get inside my car. I will take you home! A girl like you should never go out alone at this time of the night, you might encounter bad people in the street that might take advantage of you,” he said worriedly.
The woman must have been convinced with his kind words and finds him righteous because she walked towards the car and entered the passenger seat assisted by the good Samaritan guy.
After the woman was settled comfortably inside, the guy gets in the driver's seat and started the engine.
Wanting to know where this will end...Jessy followed the car as it was moving away from the club and was now traveling at a safe speed.
The car continues outside the town.
Jessy was frowning.
She took a peek inside, the woman was conscious though.
The car traveled for another one hour and getting farther away from the town, then the car made a sudden u-turn from the highway then entered a driveway leading to a house in the middle of nowhere.
The car parked in front of the house.
A guy was sitting on the veranda of the house.
The drunk lady gets out of the car. ”Why don't you come with me inside our house for a moment, I can offer you a cop of coffee, I just want to thank you for sending me home safely today,” she sincerely offered the guy.
The driver was hesitating for a moment. ”Can... I used your bathroom for a moment, please?” he said.
The woman smiled. ”Sure!”
The driver exited the car and walked towards the entrance of the house.
”Good evening, Sir!” the driver greeted the man in the veranda.
The guy on the veranda appraised the driver from head to toe.
”He offered to bring me home, he is a good guy,” the woman explained to the man sitting on the veranda.
The man just nods his head in acknowledgment.
The woman and the driver of the car entered the door and went inside the house.
Jessy no longer bothered herself to come inside the house.
She was about to leave and teleport into the city but changed her mind at the last minute. She will just wait for the driver to get out of the house and they will head back together to the town.
Jessy hovered in the air, her eyes scanned the surrounding areas of the house. There barely any neighbors around. This house was kind of situated in an isolated area. It's a bit far, a few miles from the highway.
She shifted her attention back to the entrance of the house. Jessy saw the man rose to his feet and entered the house.
