Chapter 275 Danger Zone (1/2)

Today, it used to be an ordinary day until natural calamities occur all of a sudden and turned everything into chaos. He was wondering how many died today? He was sure not only this shopping mall that was affected, probably other buildings nearby must have suffered crack on their structures too. That earthquake earlier was scary, it's like he was riding a ship in the middle of the ocean, and the ship was being bombarded by giant waves coming from all directions.

Enough of musing.

Time to leave the mall and find Caden.

Outside the building, Gavin hovered above the air, there were still some shoppers gathering outside the mall, though the majority had already gone home.

He picked up his phone from the pocket of his jacket and place a call to Caden.

”Where are you, bro?” he said.

”Hello bro!” Caden replied. ”I'm inside the church in front of the mall, praying fervently that God will stop the earthquake,” he said in all seriousness.

Gavin looked to the north side and saw the church. ”Okay, stay where you are. After you are done praying... go home to the condo, okay? I will see you there,” he commanded.

”Huh? How about you? Aren't you going home now?” Caden asked.

”Nah, not yet. I will hover above the air for a little while to see if I can spot some building collapsing nearby so that I can help anyone who needed my help,” he said.

”Okay. Take care of yourself bro. Come home safe and sound,” Caden said.

”Bye bro!” Gavin put his phone back in the pocket of his jacket and advances to the area where he saw ambulance and rescue workers gathering in a not so far distance.

After he arrived at the scene.

It turns out that it's a 10-story hotel this time, nearly collapsing.

But this building has much more damage compared to the shopping mall he left behind.

He hovered up in the air, floating above, inspecting the surroundings of the establishment.

He circled the building, there were cracks everywhere...and a portion of the 7th floor down to the 4rth floor has been partially damaged.

The tricky part was that it's dangerous for anyone to go up from the ground floor towards the 4th floor without facing the sudden danger of the floors collapsing on their heads.

Gavin was predicting that there are many people trapped inside, some are already dead and some are severely wounded.

He looked down below.

In the ground near the entrance of the building, the rescue workers were still conducting a meeting on how to approach the building safely. The worst thing is if there's another earthquake approaching, there is a big possibility the whole building will collapse.

He hovered above near the 8th and 10th floor. He saw people shouting for help in their windows.

Gavin was shaking his head.

This going to take time, better start moving now!

Gavin went to the 4th floor first.
