Chapter 187 Trust No One! (1/2)

Jessy arrived at Captain Mercado's office in the military camp. She didn't bother to knock the door, she just went inside passing through the wall unannounced.

”Good afternoon, Uncle!” Jessy greeted the captain with an energetic voice.

Captain Mercado accidentally dropped the pen that he was holding the moment the young woman's body suddenly materialized from the wall. ”Jesus Christ! Next time used the door young lady!” he scolded her.

Jessy grinned. ”Oops, sorry...Uncle. I will use the door next time,” she apologized. ”I'm here to bring you to the place where I hide the bomb launcher and the weapons.”

”That's good! Let's go to the parking lot to take my car,” the captain said about to stand up.

”No... no need...Uncle. I can take you there using my power of teleporting. It's more convenient that way because the ride towards that place takes more or less two hours and I don't have much time to spare. But before I take you there I need two things from you first...”

”What is it?” asked the captain.

”I need two pieces of anti-vampire vaccine injections,” Jessy said.

The captain's eyebrows knitted together. ”Why you need the anti-vampire vaccine?”

”I will try to test the vaccine into the newly converted mortals. I am afraid the government officials will inspect The Habitat and require everyone to be injected with the anti-vampire vaccine, I need to know the result beforehand so that I can plan well in advance,” Jessy explained.

”Okay, no problem I can give you 5 anti-vampire vaccine kit if you want,” said the captain. ”Anything else?”

”I also need all the list of all the army officers...all higher officials above you...I only need the list of the officers who are directly involved in the anti-vampire operation.”

Captain Mercado was frowning. ”Huh? Why---?”

”You know already what am going to do, Uncle. But be thankful that you are no longer included in the list of the people I need to kill. Just keep your mouth shut and you will be fine,” Jessy said.

Captain Mercado's face turned pale. ”Do you intend to carry out your mission to kill the higher army officials involved in the anti-vampire operation?”

Jessy shrugged her shoulders. ”I will kill them first before they can attack the Facility. If you are in my shoes I'm sure you would do the same if you had the opportunity, right?”

Captain Mercado was shaking his head vigorously.

Jessy shrugged her shoulders. ”Fine. You won't give me their names and their offices? I can always do my research although it's a bit time-consuming in my part, then I will eventually get all the information I need in the end.”

Captain Mercado opened the drawer in his table and picked up the folder where the ceased order from the general has been kept. He borrowed it from Colonel Brown just in case the crossbred won't believe his words. He handed it to the young woman.

”What is it?” Jessy asked frowning.

”Go ahead...open the folder and read what's inside,” he said.

Jessy opened the folder and read the content of the piece of paper that she found inside.

”That is a direct order from the office of the General, the highest-ranking officer in the army. In that piece of paper, he ordered to stop all operations against the vampires in the Facility. You can now cast your worries away and live in peace along with your clan because the army will no longer pursue the Facility based on that ceased order,” he explained.
