Chapter 1004 - Immediate Need for Energy (1/2)

Being a strong assassin, Evil Laughter knew that when Jiang Fei was preparing for a strong skill, he was completely open for attack. That ]was the best moment to strike!

With the Cauldron of Agility's effect, Evil Laughter left nothing but a blur in the air when he moved at his fastest speed. No one could see him move across the battlefield! Evil Laughter skipped using Stealth since that skill had a reduced movement speed effect. On the other hand, he knew that Jiang Fei might have prepared to counter stealth players.

The initial distance between Jiang Fei and Evil Laughter was more than 1,500 meters. However, with 10,000 Agility points, the man literally ran 1,500 meters in one second. All the Freezing Traps that were laid out by the Hunters of Empyreal Dragon were all avoided. None of them were triggered.

Both Evil Laughter and Jiang Fei's Health Points were reduced down to 1.

”You should be more careful!” said Evil Laughter before flashing behind Jiang Fei to strike.

With a loud chime, Evil Laughter's attack was stopped by the Shadow Barrier. Jiang Fei had already deployed the barrier as soon as Sharaz left the place.

”It's a trap!” Evil Laughter grunted.

Evil Laughter noticed all the Freezing Traps when he was running towards Jiang Fei. However, he did not think much about them since there was a possibility that the traps were left by the boss. As long as he could dodge all of them, he would be able to kill Jiang Fei unnoticed. However, when his dagger was blocked by a shadow blanket, he knew that he had fallen into a trap. When Jiang Fei was fighting the boss, he had noticed that Jiang Fei was taking damage from the boss. In fact, when the boss left, Jiang Fei was seen ”channeling” a skill. He should be vulnerable!

”Time to split,” said Evil Laughter, leaving behind another taunting message before running away.

However, before he could move, he had realized his entire body got extremely heavy. So heavy that he was only able to run at normal speed when he was supposed to be running at 1,000 meters per second.

When Jiang Fei had sent off Sharaz, he immediately signaled all the magicians that were hiding to start moving in. Their trigger point was to immediately cast Slow on anyone that was seen appearing beside Jiang Fei!

Evil Laughter tried to run faster but his legs felt like they were running in heavy mud. His entire body felt so heavy that it was getting harder and harder to even move! Even so, his movement speed was still faster than an ordinary Thief player with Haste. That did not mean that Jiang Fei could not chase after him!

”Heh! Thanks for the heads up. I'll remember all the lessons that you gave me!” said Jiang Fei with smile!

Jiang Fei pointed his hands at Evil Laughter and closed his fist. The Blade Dragon swooped in at breakneck speed and went straight through Evil Laughter's body!

Evil Laughter activated his own ultimate, life-saving skill that grants him 100% Evasive chance for the next 10 attacks. He had genuinely thought that it would be enough to survive. Unfortunately, the Blade Dragon consists of 128 swords! He might evade 10 of them but there were still 118 swords coming right through him!

”You cheater…” said Evil Laughter as his body hit the ground.

Be it Jiang Fei or Evil Laughter, when either one of them hunted or was hunted, the two of them were always alone. Both of them would always be able to escape unscathed. Especially Evil Laughter, since his movement speed was too quick for Jiang Fei to react. Jiang Fei would always survive because of his many death preventing skills.
