Chapter 167 - Ant Egg Essence! (1/2)

As the ground around Jiang Fei started shaking, a crack appeared on the ground. That crack soon turned into a spiderweb of crack lines that spread out across the floor.

The crack lines were nothing impressive. They barely spanned over fifty centimeters and were merely twenty centimeters wide. The damage could not have spread any further than ten centimeters. If anything, they just looked like jagged, poorly-etched grooves!

Nothing appeared to be crawling out of the grooves. However, some liquid was now leaking out of the cracked ant eggs. It all flowed down the cracks, filling them up.

Ant Egg Essence (Potion, Quality: Excellent)

Effects: Every 10ml permanently increases the maximum Mana Points by 100!

"Great item!"

Jiang Fei's eyes flashed brightly. This was definitely the best potion for Magicians. The strength of a Magician largely depended on his Mana Pool!

After all, Magicians had tremendously low Health Points. Their defense came mainly from their Mana Shield. However, such a shield took Mana Points to sustain. Moreover, some greater spells required a shocking amount of Mana Points, especially spells of the Seal Curse tree! A Magician without Mana Points was a useless piece of trash without any Battle Power. Therefore, Mana Points were not only related to a Magician's ability to continuously function, they were also related to a Magician's survival and explosive ability!

Needless to say, these Ant Egg Essences would be highly sought after by Magician players! The rich ones would even willingly fork out tens of thousands of gold coins for them.

"Goddamnit! How do I even gather this up?"

Although the Ant Egg Essence was worth tens of thousands of gold coins, Jiang Fei could only stare at the flowing liquid in frustration.

"That's right!" Jiang Fei suddenly remembered that Potion masters carried Potion bottles about. He may not be a Potion master, but no law said that he couldn't purchase those bottles himself.

As he thought of this, Jiang Fei immediately tore open a Return Scroll and bought some large Potion bottles from the stall!

Huge Potion Bottle (Material, Quality: Normal)

Effects: Can store 500ml of Potions.

Jiang Fei bought two sets of these Potion bottles in one go. There was a total of sixty bottles, which allowed him to store 30 liters of Potions!

When he returned to the swamp crypt, all the Ant Egg Essence in the breeding room had already pooled up within the groove.

He then stored all the Ant Egg Essence into the Potion bottles.

It was a total of 10 bottles of Ant Egg Essence! These Ant Egg Essence allowed a Magician to increase his Mana Points by 50,000. It was an instant leap from mere mortal to Godhood!

Jiang Fei sent the Ant Egg Essence into his spatial ring. Ever since the spatial ring's capacity had expanded, it turned into more than a transferring device between the game and the real world. It had also become Jiang Fei's trusted safe!

As most players did not have much money, and their levels were still low while the consumption of mana was relatively low, most Magicians were still not too concerned about Mana Points. It was definitely not a good time to sell the Ant Egg Essence. Therefore, Jiang Fei decided to wait until the players have undergone the second transformation to sell the Ant Egg Essence. He would sell them along with the previously obtained Demonic Pellet.

Once he kept all the Ant Egg Essence away, Jiang Fei continued to move forwards. However, Jiang Fei soon realized that he had grown complacent.

Originally, Jiang Fei had thought that the layout of this place would be the same as the Mutants'. There might be breeding rooms one after the other. That way, he would have been able to obtain large amounts of Ant Egg Essence. That was why he had bought so many empty bottles!

However, Jiang Fei very quickly discovered that the Ant Queen may not have been as good as laying eggs as the Mutant Queen. There was only a single breeding room. Any further, he would step into their army camp.

"Eh? Shouldn't the army camp be right in front of the breeding room? Also, where has the Ant Queen gone to?" Jiang Fei mumbled to himself.

Jiang Fei knew that he had entered this dungeon through a back door. This was why the poorly-defended and highly valuable breeding room had been encountered so early.

After entering the army camp, Jiang Fei discovered that the Military Ants were in groups of sixty to seventy and were patrolling around in an organized manner.
