With the sound of rings of clock Kai

Kai woke up from his sleep and found his room still covered in dark indicating that it's still night and turned on the oil lamp and turned his head to look at the wall clock which was showing 7am.

Remembering the words of his master, Kai cannot help but look around.

'I still can't believe that there will be a day when the sun does not rise and the entire day is covered in dark sky under the light coming from the stars.'

It was also quite an unusual experience for him to use an oil lamp instead of a magic lamp while staying at western palace. But, instructions have been passed around the kingdom by Chronos Magic Academy to deactivate all magic devices throughout the continent on the immortal Day festival.

According to Daoma, occurrence of violent surge of ether with wide fluctuations is common today and has adverse effects on magic devices.

'They should rename today as Immortal night festival instead of immortal Day festival.'

Thinking so, Kai got up from his bed and entered the lonely hallway illuminated by fire torches.

When he heard the sound of footsteps and found Alina walking towards him in a hurry while holding new clothes in her hand.

These days, she has taken on the duty of his personal maid and takes care of all his basic requirements.

Alina also noticed Kai standing outside his door looking towards her as she never got him.

”Master, You have woken up?”

”Just a few minutes ago. I am planning to take a bath so you can place the clothes on my bed and wait for my return.

Alice nodded in response with a smile.

After sometime retuned and Alina helped him wear his new fancy clothes for the festival and entered the dining room which was mostly empty.

Jai has returned back to former eastern command headquarters which is now used as a training center.

Bolt and Asava are currently supervising Rio city and Northwind city.

Kaya is also in South City and helping her adapt with her new position as a city lord.

Lily is with her father Roland, while Ellie and Diana are in Amon city.

While Daoma, Sunaya have left early in the morning for Shaman King Mountain with Farbo who wants to witness the last moments of his birth place; while others are making preparations for the fight.

The only people present are Vali and Behemoon with his grandparents and Alina.

Vali with his grandparents are going to manage the festival ceremony and security.

Kai looked at Behemoon who was also going to accompany him to the celestial world with Alice and was pointing to the seat beside her.

Kai smiled and went to sit beside her.

Yami and Elena were looking at their grandson with deep concern.
