Chapter 198: Right Hand of God (Part-1) (2/2)
Lucus understood quickly and responded”Sir, Kai. My friend and I are here like you have commanded.”
Kai smiled
”Let's go. We will be using the teleporter in town centre.”
Lucus and his friends looked at each other as they followed Kai.
[Western Palace, Capital City, Utopia]
The teleporter in western palace reacted and turned on.
Kai with Lucus and his friends came out of the teleporter and looked at their surroundings with curiosity.
While the magic user incharge of teleporter operation with guard, welcome back Kai and Kai group continued to walk towards the administration office to talk with Behemoon to allocate these guys according to their skills.
During his time talking with Lucus, who was still a little fearful of him and showing obvious signs of hesitation when talking to him.
He came to know from his friends' background as well as their education standards.
Kai is well aware they have to do their examination and a background check up before they are given any job unlike Lucus whose identity verification will be easy with his former status of noble and Royal academy students while his friends parents may be high rank officers working somewhere, after all there are thousands of officers working throughout the kingdom and it's not possible for him to know about all of them.
Lucus' friends who were following Kai looked at their surroundings with curiosity.
Arriving at the administration head office, Kai saw staff members of other departments and ministers coming out of the room in a hurry carrying large bundles of documents with them.
Kai was confused after seeing this, he had only witnessed this phenomenon during the switching of the administration system from the former system to the current system.
Lucus and his friends were also astonished by the amount of people going in and out of the office.
The door was basically open for anybody to enter.
Peeking inside not only Lucus and his friends but Kai was also astonished.
Papers were flying around and Kai found a person moving around so fast that even his eyes cannot keep up with him.
Finally all papers returned back to the deck in order and found Clive sitting on the seat on which, Behemoon sits most of the time.
Today, Behemoon was sitting across him acting like a secretary looking at Vali with her tired eyes with awe and admiration.
Looking at this scenario only one question comes to Kai mind.
'Just what is going on?'
