Kai was looking at Farbo as he held the dagger in his hand.
Yami and Elena were surprised by the sudden change of attitude of Farbo.
Just a moment ago he was acting like their elder but suddenly he is acting like a subordinate waiting for the command of his master.
Erina and Lina were also taken back by the sudden respectful manner of their great grandfather and looked at the dagger in Kai's hand.
They have never seen this ordinary dagger before but they have heard about it from their elder. The dagger which is the symbol of authority and power in the Kourin family.
As soon as they remembered about the history of the dagger, Erina and Lina also stood up and bent their knees on the ground beside the sofa and looked at Kai.
”Erina has seen Clan head.”
”Lina has seen Clan head.”
Both shouted in union as they looked at Kai and waited for his order.
Farbo also looked at Kai with a worried expression. He had acted as the acting clan head for all these years as well as the Shaman King for many generations but he had never forgotten that I was all granted by ancestor Oliver.
They are the branch family of Shaman King Kabo and had carried on the will of their first ancestor till this day, but still the power has been shifted to the hand of other branch families.
He was feeling very complicated at this moment, yet he doesn't dare to neglect the tradition of their clan, not to mention that Oliver's ancestors are still alive and the current wielder of dagger is also not an ordinary person.
Kai looked at them and smiled.
”Stand up you three, no need to act so formal before me. Elder Farbo you are my elder and both of your daughters are of the same age as me.
I took out this dagger not to show my dominance before you guys but to pass on a suggestion to you.”
Hearing that Farbo and his great grandchildren stood up and returned to their sites.
Yami and Elena smiled and nodded their heads to show their agreement with Kai's decision.
With his actions Kai not only has let them know his identity in the clan, but also shown that he is willing to respect others and their opinion regardless of his position.
”I would suggest migrating all the tribes of Northern lands with members of Shaman King Mountain Sect to the Northernwind City of Buraford Kingdom. As you guys know that in the future Shaman King Mountain will not exist and there is a high chance of entire northern lands turning into a nest for Magic beasts and people throughout the continent are well aware of the harsh living conditions of northern lands. So, I want you to help me negotiate with those tribal chief and move their tribe to Northernwind City which act as a trade center between northern lands and Buraford Kingdom as well as the headquarters of northern military command centre.”
Hearing Kai's suggestions , Farbo shook his chin with his hand with a deep thought and looked at Kai after a moment.
”You don't have to negotiate with them if the conditions are ideal. They will not hesitate to move, but you must know that these people have remained free and not binded by the law of society for their entire life. If you move these tribes to Northernwind City it is going to be hard for them to suddenly adapt to the changes and conflicts can occur between the natives and tribes. Will you be able to handle them?”
As a native of northern lands he is well aware of the weather and living conditions of northern lands. Shaman King Mountain is situated in the lower and greener part of the Northern lands; most of the northern lands are unfit for agriculture and even the technology of northern lands is way behind the other parts of Continent due to their ancient way of living.
Not much has changed in northern lands in a million years.
Many tribes want to leave the northern lands but have been stopped by the past Shaman Kings but still many have left.
Now, only three large tribes and five middle size tribes with Shaman King Mountain Sect remain with a total population of fifteen thousand.
The number of fighting between the tribal groups have before more frequently due to growth of population.
The main income of tribes is earned through trading with merchants in exchange for the unique herbs, magic beast mana core and their various valuable parts, livestock and handicrafts items and rare mineral ore found in upper parts of North lands.
He is still confused, why Kai wants to move the entire population of northern lands to Northernwind City? What benefits will he get from these tribes? He can understand that he wants Shaman King Mountain Sect to move to Northernwind City to increase the military might of the nation as well as increase his influence in the continent but how will these tribes benefit him?
Kai smiled in response to Farbo questions.
”You don't have to worry about that, I have a perfect man for this Job. He is currently working in the western region of Buraford Kingdom and is a close friend of mine. I don't think these tribal chief have more overbearing character then him.”
”If you say so, I will follow your suggestions and move the entire Shaman King Mountain Sect to Northernwind City with the tribal groups. Just promise me that you will not mistreated these people and will have equal rights as that of the citizens of Buraford Kingdom.”
”You have my words as the king of Buraford Kingdom, they will not be mistreated and have equal status of citizens of Buraford Kingdom.”
Farbo nodded with a bitter heart.
He would have not accepted Kai suggestions if he had said the same things before he had known about the destruction of Shaman King Mountain. But thinking about the present condition it's the best choice he can make for his people, not to mention that Kai is now the clan head of the Kourin clan. He just can't neglect the words of his family head.
”So, everything is decided. I hope you move soon with the Northland people; there is not much time left before the immortal Day.”
”Patriarchs don't have to worry. I will leave after this meeting for my return to sect.”said Farbo as he bowed to Kai.
Kai nodded and looked at Erina and Lina.
”You two are going to stay here. From today onwards I am going to help you train your spiritual energy. If you train under me by the end of this month you will be able to reach the tenth stage of Battle God Forbidden Scripture.”
Hearing that both Erina and Lina, were excited but also hesitated and looked at their great grandfather who nodded his head in approval.
He is also curious how Kai reached the tenth stage of Battle God Forbidden Scripture so fast. If he can do the same for his great grandchildren; then the overall power of the clan will increase as well as their authority in the clan by getting closer to the patriarch in future.
Another thing is that Kai is personally going to guide their cultivation that means he acknowledged their talent and future potential. So, there was no advantage denying the good will shown by Kai.
Getting the approval of Farbo, Erina and Lina bow to Kai.
”We will stay, so please guide us patriarch.”
Kai nodded and replied with a smiling face.
”We will begin our training from tomorrow. In the meantime I would like you guys to make yourself comfortable and familiarise yourself with Royal capital city. This place is going to me your home till you guys master the first part of Battle God Forbidden Scripture.”
Erina and Lina nodded in union.
After some time, Everyone left the room.
Yami guided Farbo to the teleporter room to take him to Northernwind City.
Erina and Lina also left with Elena to familiarise themselves with Royal capital.
Leaving Kai alone to wander around the western palace.
Having nothing to do, Kai walked in the corridor to meet Behemoon.
It has been two weeks since he had last seen her and was planning to inform her about his plan for the future of Buraford Kingdom.
The main reason why he wanted to migrate all the tribes of Northern lands to Northernwind City is to smoothly carry on his plan which he had discussed with Behemoon before he had left for Academy.
Northern lands have a great reserve of raw material and ore but they don't have technology to refine them.
On the other hand, Buraford Kingdom has the technology but lacks raw materials to meet the demand of the whole kingdom.
With recent increase in construction and military armament. The need for iron and other metals have increased and they have to depend on Duke Grawn and Fastasia group to get these items which are a burden to the national treasury. While the factories in south city are not working at their fullest extent due to lack of raw materials.
Now, due to current circumstances tribes will all have to leave the Northern lands empty and ownerless. He is well aware that if he want to use the entire reserve of ore just for his kingdom alone other empire and Romand Kingdom are going to protest, but with Shaman King Mountain Sect and tribes help it will not happen and Kai and claim all resources of northern lands as his own. It may take sometimes to convince the tribal groups to hand over the owner of their land in exchange for better lifestyle and he is fully confident that he can make it happen.
Thinking about his plan Kai had a sly smile on his face.
When he heard the fast moving sound of footsteps coming from his back.
Turning around, he saw Alina running towards him.
”Master.. master. I have just been informed by the guards that my mother has arrived in the capital city and is seeking permission to enter the palace to meet you.”said Alina in a hurry as she tried to catch her breath.
