[Three years later]

I still haven't received any information about Kai and boys have started to propose their feelings towards me. I have decided to adopt a cold attitude towards them, even if they keep telling me, just how much they love me, I don't have a single bit of romantic feeling for them. My heart only has a place for one man and that is Kai.

My cultivation was already at the Seventh stage of Magic Grandmaster and I told Elder Aryana to withdraw the task.

As no one completed it, I didn't have to pay any contribution points to her in return and decided to search for him on my own during the tasks offered by the academy.

For the next two years, I keep on doing tasks in different parts of the continent from the easiest thief and bandits capturing to protecting villages and rescuing people that suffered from natural disasters like earthquakes, landslides, and floods.

While searching about the appearance of space cracks through the continent.

I came to find out that many people had been found in different parts of the continent after they were engulfed by a space crack and some were never seen again. But I didn't give up and continued in search of Kai. My heart was always telling me that he is alive somewhere on the continent.

Finally, I also started to feel frustrated and hopeless after searching for him for the last ten years and decided to return to my home town to relax my mind and body.

After a long tiring journey, I returned to the academy and applied for a one month leave.

This was the second visit to my hometown after becoming a Magic Grandmaster.

After returning to my hometown. I was greeted by the warm welcome from the town lord and fellow town people. Even Kai's mother and father were there.

But I just can't see the cheerful smile on their face that I used to see when Kai was here.

Because I came back home after such a long time, my father wanted to organize a banquet for everyone in the village but I stopped him. I was not in the mood for celebration after seeing Kai's parents in a depressed state. They had been like that for ten years. I knew that they had not given up hope and were still waiting for Kai to return, just like me.

One month later, I left the home with the new determination and decided to focus on my cultivation and breakthrough to the Magic Warrior stage.

It's a little funny that I think about it. If only I had waited ten more days I would have met Kai.

Returning to the academy, I underwent close door training to focus only on cultivation and breakthrough to the Magic Warrior stage.

I was wrong about this matter, and only later got to know that Kai's family was related to the Buraford Kingdom Royal family.

After the breakthrough to the Magic Warrior stage. I was told about the different forces in the continent and that I have to choose from one of those forces to join after graduation or my life can be at risk.

I don't want to leave my home kingdom and serve under a different force and delayed my decision. On the first day of moving to my new dormitory, I found myself in an awkward and unfamiliar situation.

A boy with short black hair, black eyes. About a height of 183cm and average body build, wearing a black robe with hood entered my room.

I panicked, being a young lady who had just come out of the bathroom after taking a bath. I was taken by surprise finding a young man in my room. On top of that, My body was only covered by a piece of a towel wrapped around my torso and lower abdomen parts.

I was angry at this uninvited guest who entered my room without my permission. That I didn't know that he is Kai. After all, the Kai I know didn't have any magic channel in his body so he cannot become a magic-user or a Battlemage.

Quickly the man left the room. I was relieved but was also troubled. How did he enter my room without the key? Only later, I was told by Miss Delfonia about the unreasonable tradition of the academy.

A lottery is done to match roommates and it does not matter if your roommate is a man or woman. You will have to live with them.

I was dissatisfied and displeased by this rule. How can I live under the same roof with an unknown boy? I, who had mercilessly rejected all boys who tried to enter my life and wanted to have a romantic relationship with me, due to feelings for Kai and this guy was going to live with me from this day onwards.

After aunt Deflonia left. The boy started to laugh without any reason and started saying things which made it seem like he had known me for many years. He even knew my parent's name and was making fun of me.

I was angry but also suspicious. How did he know so much about me? Was he one of my crispy die-hard followers?

Suddenly he started to move towards me. I panicked and wanted to use my water magic but I knew that inside the room magic would not work due to the anti-magic runes set up by the academy.

The body moved and hugged me tightly. Suddenly, I found myself feeling a sense of familiarity as my heartbeat quickened. I was surprised when he whispered into my ears, the words which I have wanted to hear for so many years.

I was still doubtful about this identity but my heart was telling me that he is not lying. He was Kai that I love, and just to prove it, he even revealed to me about all my embarrassing childhood moments. Making me feel so ashamed of myself.
