”Ah! Cannot we leave now?”ask Alina
Oliver shaked his head and point Kai”Kai you are going to have a duel with me. I will like to see how strong you are and how you can improve yourself”
Hearing that Kai look at Oliver and his old body and thin hands.
Seeing the hesitation in Kai eyes and look in at him with like saying”can you really handle it. Old man.You are already old for this kind of stuff”
Oliver smiled in return”I may be old but I can beat 1000 of you just with my one hand. We are going to do a duel and only use our battle techniques.I will like to see how strong are your basic and give advice to improve yourself before month of October and face Heavenly god trial”
Hearing that Kai felt troubled”Headmaster.... You see... I don't know anything about battle techniques”
”Ah! What did you said?”asked Oliver thinking he must have heard something wrong.
”I have not practice any battle techniques”said Kai with embarassment.
Oliver had a dull expressionless on his face as he look at Kai”A peak magic warrior stage Battle Archmage who don't know any battle techniques is this for real or am I dreaming”suddenly Oliver remembered it's only been three months Kai have become a battle Archmage and calm himself down.
”Did you not learn any battle techniques or art from Yami. Like not even the basic techniques?”
Kai shaked his head.
”So what have you been doing all these three month then”shouted Oliver in anger
Alina body trembled due to sudden shout of Oliver. I sudden outburst of angry was too shocking for her.
Facing Oliver questions, Kai only had a awakened smile on his face.
Seeing this Oliver sigh and calm himself as he look at Kai.
”Brother forgive me. Look like your family bloodline has no hope of surviving”looking again at Kai while taking out a book from his spiral ring and passing it on to Kai.
”It's book is basic techniques of battle mage made by me.
In the given period of time you can only master this technique.If you are able to master. You can go to Library and look for any battle techniques you like. Go through it and practice it in the courtyard and you face any problem ask me”.
Kai nodded and started reading the book.
The contents of the book has divided into body posture, body movement, fist and leg movement, footwork.
Kai one by one stared going through theory and ask Oliver to demonstrate them to him so that he can see it in practical.
Oliver didn't refuse and Kai watch Oliver movement as well as follow of magic carefully and started remembering them and stood up and try to copy Oliver.
Whenever he felt any doubt he asked Oliver without any hesitation.
Oliver who was watching Kai make improvements every minute in real time cannot believe that Kai never have practice and battle techniques.
”Is this guy lying or is it for real. No no no it must be true, his beforehand body posture and shabby body movement have improved and such magic flow control as he have been doing it for many years like a magic users and such all his sense. Kai is a born genius”
Ofcourse Oliver don't know that Kai have been living in forbidden forest for ten years where he fought with magic beasts. For for survival, Kai have developed his all sense. Kai may have lost his beforehand strong body but it remains all this experience of battle with magic beast and as a magic users, Kai have full mastery over control of magic flow in his body and with guidance and creator of the technique, Oliver and his his fully concentrated mind. Kai faced no problem adapting to basic battle techniques made by Oliver.
After three hours of noon stop practice and guidance of Oliver. Kai fully mastered the technique and his whole body has become stiff due to pain and his mental strength is already exhausted as he collapse as his body fully covered in sweat.
Alina who were watching him all this time run towards him and offer him some water.
While Olivir smiled and look at the sunset on the horizon.
