16 Home is always Home (1/2)

Even since leaving is forest Kai was when nonstop flying but it still took him entire morning and evening and only before night time did he reached the main gate of the town.

Looking at main gate of his hometown he felt nostalgic,it's been 11years since he left and now he is back but is confused and afraid as how to explain, where he has been to all these time to his parents or how he become a magic user, from childhood he never has been good at lying to others, so what kind of story should he make.

Looking at not far away, he heard the sound of footsteps and people talking coming towards the main gate, quickly he removed his hod and marks and went inside the gate as he passed by the gate, he show the same look of the town as it was 11years ago nothing much have change, children are playing at park, womens are talking with each other.

In a small town far from the capital city and close to forbidden forest which is a home of magic beasts not many people come to this place because of which when kai was passing by the park, the children and women stared looking at him

Suddenly a women approach him as he was looking at the park

”Young fellow you don't seem to be from this area, what are you doing here”the lady asked

”Miss I am a traveler and explorer, it's just that I have got separate from my friends as we where attacked by bandits,so all my good are lost, can you tell me is there a place for me to stay in this town like a inn”

”If you are looking for a inn you should go to saft house, it is on the southern side of the town,just take the road from the left and you will see the inn”

Thanking the lady Kai move towards the left hand road after sometime he was standing at the door steps of the inn, the place where he has spend his childhood, his heart was pounding like crazy and his hands where shaking from nervousness, trying to adjust his mind and taking a deep breath, he pushed open the door as the ringing sound of the bell was sound

The lady at the counter look at him with a smile, ”welcome sir, what will you like to have”

Looking at the lady, Kai become adsent minded, he want to hold her but he doesn't know what to do

”Mom”

On hearing him called 'mom' a stranger, she become stund

”Sorry,sorry madam it's just you look so much like my mother, that when I show you I suddenly remembered by mother”said Kai to the lady

”Sir,you don't seem to be from here”said Lady

”yes, I am a traveler and on my way I and my friends got attacked by bandits, so I got separate from them, on my way your inn provide a place to stay, so I came here”said Kai to the lady

”In this place we mostly don't have any visitor so there is a room empty, I will be 3 copper coin a day for the room with three meals provided”said the lady

”Miss, I don't have any coins but this I have”

as Kai took out a crystal of finger size from his robe and place it on the counter table”said kai to the lady

Looking at the shining crystal lady look at Kai

”What is this crystal”

”it's a magic stone miss,it's value is equal to 1 gold coin,as I don't know when will I be able to leave and may be my friend will come to this town, if miss don't believe you can go to town lord to confirm my word after all he is a magic grandmaster”

Looking at the crystal she smiled”I will accept it then for now, tomorrow I will take it to town lord to confirm, you can first go and have a bath, I will arrange your food”said lady

”oh.. I forget to ask what is you name, mister”
