6 Chapter 2 : Trial 2 part 1 (1/2)

The second floor was an dense forest , his surrounding were lushfully green , tall towering trees piercing the sky were seen almost every where , Animals , Birds and strange Insects were seen around , Jian lin after reaching level 10 his 'Sense value' became doubled , even without using his map he can almost view things that were faraway from him , birds and insects hundreds of meters away can be seen in an magnified view at his will , his map also increased its range from 1000 meters to 2000 meters .
Jian lin started to climb a tall tree which was near to him , to get a better view about his surroundings , as the map shown by system was not that much useful to him at present as it only showed the location of trees and the monsters .
After few hours he was on his half way reaching to the top , so he decides to take rest on the branch which was few meters above to him.
He reached the branch , It's upper surface was so wide that even a small village can be built there , he heard few noises , they was some fight going over something , there were few creatures whose body was covered by animal hide to preserve their body against the chilling temperature above , they were using long range weapons , bows , spheres , they were hunting a giant insect that resembles a centipede .
That giant insect was critically wounded by their ranged weapons and was about to die from the Mortal wound that it had suffered from their strike .
Those creature were humans that lived on the trees , they were using animal hide to cover their bodies to prevent it from cold , they were taller than 6 feet and robust , as if they were born to fight . suddenly a giant snake , who's mouth was so large that it can even swallow an bear at ease , it was taking advantage of their fight to steal their hunt , it was light green in colour with its eyes that were dark green in colour , a perfect body for camouflage , it had sharp teeth with fangs and was not like as what an ordinary snake should have , after swallowing the insect it hunger was still not satiated , it still wants to eatmore , tender and soft flesh of humans was way better than what normal giant insects and animals can present to it .

Jian lin wanted to try his new skill fire blade , holding goblin blade one on each hand Jian lin leaned his body a little with his legs bend backwards like an jaguar he started dash forward toward the snake , the blades turned molten red , the snake was naturally targeting the trials so it was not able to sence Jian lin blade that just pierced his belly from which blood was pumping out.

[- 100 , -100] these two attacks have nearly taken one third of his HP including , loss of it's HP caused by the trials who were attacked by it .
The snake used his tail to whip Jian lin body , his dark green eyes turned crimson red.
Jian lin used his blade as a shield in an cross formation with the flat edges passing over his elbows and stabbed into the trunk as an support to with stand the bow.
The result was not as what Jian lin expected it to be , even tough he succeeded in defending him against the last blow his blade developed few cracks that can break any moment .
Even the snake was startled by the result as no one had ever survived even a single blow from him , but Jian lin did escaped with only few bruises , this had naturally gifted his pride.
Jian lin noticed that the stats and level of the snake increased dramatically , when it's eyes colour changed to crimson red from dark green .

Just before the Great Boa opened its jaws wide and tried to swallow him, Jian lin swiftly side stepped and let the attack past him. At the same time he took both the blade and struck it past the corner of the mouth.
Gritting his teeth hard , strengthing his hands to his peak using the momentum of the snake to his advantage and using it against the snake , he leaps forward , slicing throughout the course of the body till the end of the it's tail , a wide and deep gash was lacerated against the snake .

That strike nearly killed the great boa snake , Jian lin was startled by the number the system showed up , his normal attacks at full might only caused 100 or so damage while the last blow had taken nearly 80% of it's HP in a single hit and the fire blade just upgraded to level 2 atperfect timing .

The snake cried out an loud screech , eyes turned back to dark green and it's HP was well below 400 points , it's body was slamming against the trunk , Jian lin naturally does not want to give for the snake time to recover , so was dashing forward to finish off the snake for good , the snake tried to counter him with acid spits from his mouth , they were like bullets , trying to pierce him , using simple side steps to dodge the trajectory and using blade when side step were not effective , Jian lin was ready to face off against the snake.
The snake tried to gave out her last shot , Jian lin whirled around with his blade that became molten red in colour ,he spreaded out his arms whirling and , beheading the head from the snake's body.

Fire blade attack power increased and it was sufficient for Jian lin to wipe out rest of the HP out of this snake.

Jian lin levelled from level 10 to level 15 , this was an great deal for him , as levelling to higher level keeps on becoming tough as experience needed increases exponentially .
