Hana beamed. It seemed like the cards she started off with were pretty good. So far, she could see that there was 4 types in the cards she had. Weapon and creature were self explanatory. 'Special' seemed to mean many different things, almost like a miscellaneous category. As for innate . . . she asked the system.
[Innate type cards directly affect the host body constitution. They are permanent and will vanish upon use]
”Ok, use Fire Dragonslayer Body!” The card shone, then vanished from the storage.
Immediately, Hana felt strength pouring into her body. Her eyesight sharpened. She could hear even the slight gurgling of a river 50 miles away. She could smell a fruity scent from the east, most likely wild berries.
”Amazing!” She threw a punch, hearing the wind break as her fist tore through air. Her body was now more similar to her previous one.
She ran forward, through the forest. Leaping over shrubbery and roots, she easily sprinted across at high speed for 15 minutes. Eventually, Hana slowed down in a clearing.
”Summon all creature cards!”
Immediately, a Zorua, Chimchar, and Eevee appeared before her. ”Zor!” The Zorua immediately ran forward, rubbing against calves. The Chimchar and Eevee crowded around cheerfully.
”You're Blackie huh?” Hana rubbed the Zorua's head. It was so cute! She wanted to squish it to death!
”Today, we're gonna test out your powers.” Hana announced. The three Pokemon looked shocked. The Chimchar even rolled its eyes doubtfully.
Hana patted its head sadly. Her predecessor didn't know that her summons had powers, only treating them as pets. If she had used them correctly, maybe she wouldn't have died.
”Alright, Chimchar, Flame Wheel on that tree!” Hana yelled with a smile. Almost everyone watched Pokemon as a kid. She was super eager to battle with them like on screen.
The Chimchar gaped for a moment. It's eyes widened, and almost teared slightly. ”Chimchar!” It's body exploded into a flaming wheel, rocketing toward the tree.
The blazing force smashed through the tree easily, creating a large boom as it collapsed. The stump was now charred in top, but cut through.
”Nice!” Hana exclaimed.
”Chimchar!” Chimchar rushed forward, even more excited than her. It's owner finally allowed it to battle after all these years!
For the next few hours, Hana had tested out all the Pokemon. She couldn't exactly remember all their move sets, but it seemed like they could perform the general moves fine.
As evening came, she fell into a dilemma. She had an evolution card that likely should evolve a Pokemon, but which one should she use it on? She didn't know how rare it was to get one, but she only had two draws left.
”System, evolve Eevee.” Hana decided. Currently, she couldn't remember much moves Eevee could use. It was better if it evolved into one of the elemental types.

Hana widened her eyes slightly. Nice, she had her pick. ”I want Glaceon.”
In her card storage, the Eevee and Evolution cards combined together. Eevee's body glowed, turning multicolor. The form enlarged until she changed into a Glaceon. ”Glaceon!”
A new card appeared.

Note: How elegant! But sadly it's wasted on you. . .
Hana returned Glaceon and Chimchar into her storage space. Checking her status, it didn't seem to change, except her card number dropped.
”Blackie, let's go home!” She scooped up Zorua, heading toward the apartment.
Entering, it seemed like Rina was already home. She was quietly doing homework on the desk.
Her eyes lit up as Hana walked in.
Hana smiled. ”I went to the forest today and caught some fish. Let's have that for dinner.”
Rina's eyes lit up when she saw Blackie. ”Ok.”
