Xiao Fang used [ Reaper's Grasp ] to grab his and Xue Li's robes.

”Xue Li, how long can you hold your breath for?”

”Maybe two minutes. Are we going to hide under water?”

”Yeah, are you ready?”

Xue Li nodded.

Xiao Fang then took her to the center of the pool, then swam to the bottom. Holding onto Xue Li, he used [ Stealth ], making the both of them disappear.

A few seconds later, someone finally opened the door. That person was none other than Ye Ming.

She walked into the room then carefully assessed her surroundings. She looked to her left then her right, but she couldn't find anyone there.

'Strange,' she thought.

Even though she couldn't see anyone in the room, she was convinced that she wasn't alone.

'Could they be using a stealth ability? Perhaps Father sent someone here to give me a message.'

The father Ye Ming was referring to was the Patriarch of the Hidden Leaf sect. A sect that is ranked 6th in the country and notorious for their stealthy abilities.

'Something isn't right. If this person was really sent by Father, then why aren't they revealing themselves to me?' Ye Ming wondered.

As soon as that thought crossed her mind, she heard Rong Shi call out to her.

”Ye Ming, did you find anything?”

Ye Ming felt like she finally understood why her father's messenger was still hiding. Ye Ming walked out of that private room then closed the door behind her.

”No, it's empty. I must've imagined it,” Ye Ming replied before getting back into the pool.

After she left, Xiao Fang and Xue Li swam back up to the surface. Since Xue Li was still blindfolded, Xiao Fang held her hand as he took her over to the ledge. Xiao Fang sat down on the ledge then Xue Li elegantly rotated herself in the water before sitting down on his lap.

”Do you think she saw us?” Xue Li asked.

”No, I don't think she did.”

”That's a relief,” she said, but the truth was, nearly getting caught excited her. She wasn't a very bad girl, but she hated playing by the rules because her mother made so many of them. Being with Xiao Fang was the most thrilling thing she did, this was the most fun she had in almost all her life.
