In the morning, Xiao Fang woke up in an empty bed. Since Jiang Mei and Su Yun were out, Xiao Fang decided to get to work himself.

”Fang, you're awake. Come in and join me, the water's hot.”

Although they were much deeper underground, the area was still as bright as any other room.

They walked down the pathway till they reached the two thick metal doors, but as soon as Xiao Fang approached it, he could hear it unlock. With a simple push they were both inside.

As soon as they stepped in, they immediately felt the heavy qi weighing them down, but since their cultivation realms were already so high, they didn't feel too hindered by it.

”Let's start,” she said, expecting Xiao Fang to kiss her.

”Just a moment.”

Xiao Fang traced his hands against the wall as if he was looking for something. Just as Xiao Hei was about to ask what he was looking for, she noticed that his eyes were no longer violet, they were a light shade of blue.

”Xiao Fang, your eyes...”

Xiao Fang briefly explained his new technique, and then told her what he was doing.

”I can see the inscriptions in the walls, but I can't read them.”

”What's there to read? It's just a basic Spirit Containment Formation,” she replied.

”Spirit Containment Formation? Can you see the inscriptions too?” Xiao Fang asked.

”I can't look through the wall like you if that's what you're asking, but it doesn't take a genius to know what kind of formation this is.”

Xiao Hei could see that he was confused, so she asked, ”do you know anything about inscriptions?”

Xiao Fang shook his head, ”I don't.”

”Inscriptions aren't too impressive under the Heavenly realm, but you should still start learning it soon.”

”It seems you know quite a bit about inscriptions. Do you think you can teach me what you know?” Xiao Fang asked.

”You're better off learning from a proper teacher.”

Xiao Hei tried to explain what she knew, but she wasn't able to explain anything properly to him. Still, what she told him got him interested to learn more about it.

Xiao Fang continued to examine the room, trying his best to decipher what he could from the inscriptions in the walls.

Ever since he used his [ Spirit Perception ] technique, his surroundings were as bright as day, it made him feel as if he was standing under the scorching sun. When he looked up, he could see his guild house, but when he looked down, he could see a column of light reaching deep underground.

”How far below?” Xiao Hei asked.

”I can't say. It goes farther down than I can see.”

Xiao Fang eventually felt like he had seen enough. Although he found it a bit fascinating, this information was useless to him now.

His eyes reverted back to violet then he approached Xiao Hei. He raised her chin up then gave her a kiss. She made a cute little sound when their lips connected then he could feel her wandering hands reaching down to his nether region. It seemed as if she had been waiting for this moment for a long time, and was finally getting what she wanted.
