137 Episode 33: Seeking How to Utilize Demon Stones (2/2)

Everyone asks for that answer and Tilty gathers her gaze. Tilty puts his back on his back and then turns his gaze on us as he puts back the teacup he had in his hand.

”If you're going to use all the power of the Demon Stone, like Master Anis, you need a technique called engraving marks. But if you're gonna use it as a tool, you just have to be able to use it when you need it, right? And when you need it, you need as much power as you need.”

”... when used exclusively?

”It's the same thing as magic. Do you use magic or consciousness in every single thing you need to live every day? Ideally, technology can be used whenever necessary, for as long as necessary, and to the extent that it can be controlled. Isn't that right? Dear Annis.”

”You're so angry when Tilty tells you to be honest...?

But Tilty's right. Even magic props make simplified magic available to everyone, so you don't have to pull out all of the demon stone's performance from the start.

... I realize I was in a hurry after all. What are you going to do if you overlook the essence of the magic prop, me?

Startup was successful. Although there is a problem that can be described as defective, it is not that there is no way to use it. Then find out how to control the next thing you need to explore.

”By way of limitation, there is no point in development without selling or selling more than existing magic artifacts.”

”The most obstacle to this is the impossibility of being used in conjunction with magic, does this perception fit?

Tilty makes a point in my whining. I snort and share my perception with Tilty.

”Right. That's the biggest problem with demon stones.”

”If you want to tailor the Demon Stone in the form of a demonic prop, would it be a good idea to first slow down performance to a point where people can control it and then gradually pull up the stage? If you need the magic of the Spirit in the first place, don't you even need to supply it from yourself? You should use the Spirit Stone.”

”Give me the Spirit Stone?

”You're going to throw away the Spirit Stone, but if you use it as fuel for the Demon Stone to start, why don't you fix it?

”... I know what you're trying to say, but I think that makes it harder to agree with you.”

Indeed, with Spirit Stone, you may be able to activate it without directly instilling magic in the Demon Stone. I don't find it difficult to create that mechanism per se. Because that technology leads to demonic props and hence artificial demon stones.

But even though Spirit Stone is now in high demand and soaring, there's no way it can accept technology to make it disposable. No recommendation can be made in cost or in faith.

”Well, right. Then I figured I'd just have to suppress the demon stone's performance and gradually pull it up?

”Well, now we need research in the direction of exploring how to lower the demon stone output...”

Put your hands on your chin and gather your thoughts in conversation with Tilty.

I look up because I feel like my gaze has been accidentally gathered. Then everyone had an indescribable look at me and Tilty alternately.

”Hey, what...?

”... no”

”I knew you were one of a kind, right?

”Your breath is perfect”

”Ugh...”

That is undeniable. After all, Tilty is easy to deal with when it comes to doing research. Although I regret it. But they also tell me that breath is perfect!

”You're not talking about that right now! We're talking about how to suppress the demon stone's output!

”You don't have a plan, do you?

”There is!?”

The Demon Stone tries to erode magic at the activation stage, so I can't think of how to limit the output. But Tilty seems to have a plan. I stutter unexpectedly and stare at Tilty.

However, Tilty has a slight tone of voice down compared to earlier. Sounds like it's not much of a ride.

”What's the plan?

”... I will use the power of the Dark Spirit”

”Of the Dark Spirit?

”The Spirit of Darkness is the Spirit who supposedly presides over sleep and the end. The properties of the Dark Attributes correspond to the symbols. Use this power to suppress the Demon Stone.”

”You mean suppress the demon stone's output with the power of the Dark Spirit?

”You will. I don't know if it's gonna work, though, okay? However, then there are those who can use dark magic...”

Dark magic. It is an attribute that bisects light as a primitive attribute in magic, but it is also the most plain attribute of magic.

The magic of dark attributes is plain compared to the same primitive light. Light has many magic of its tendencies, such as healing and physical activation. Against light, the supposedly opposite pole darkness is due to the fact that there are many things in the system that enclose sedation and the power of the opponent, and not so many opportunities to be exploited.

There is demand itself. That's not so if you ask me if I can do a glorious job. It should not be lacking, but the current situation is that there is a handful who think so when asked if it is an admirable attribute.

”So, who here can use dark magic?

Tilty looks around as she asks. Gakun and Charne, gazed at by Tilty, are shaking their necks left and right. Can't you two use it...

”I can't either, because I'm only about as fit as water”

”No Priscilla either. What about Navre?”

”I'm not as good at it...”

Navre is frowning like trouble. There's nothing I can't use, but I'm not good at it.

Tilty, who confirmed everyone's reaction, sighed just saying she had no choice.

Then I'll have to do it.

”Are you sure?

”Yep. I became part of the magic bureau. Then you have to make a contribution, right?

You look like you're saying it in a light condition, but I saw Tilty grabbing her own arm and standing her nails up.

For Tilty, the use of magic is burdensome. And there's trauma. Regardless of the extent to which you use light healing magic like just now, a full use of magic would be a considerable burden to Tilty.

If you still want me to do it, I shouldn't worry about Tilty. It's about relying on Tilty and keeping an eye on her so she doesn't have to.

”... thanks, Tilty”

”Well, you don't need to thank me. Something interesting.”

Tilty returns my thanks with a shoulder to shoulder. Although it was an unsatisfactory reply, I found my ears slightly reddened, not hidden by Vale.

Without daring to touch it, I offered my thanks to Tilty only once more in my heart.
