45 Episode 44: Visit to the Duke of Magenta House (Part II) (1/2)
”Uphilia, Caind. Keep it that way.”
They're staring at each other with their fighting hips. Mrs. Nerschel came in to stop me as I grated at Ufi and Caind, who kept their gaze together but took their gaze off as if the thread of tension had broken.
”Sit here, Caind.”
”... Yes”
Kaindo-kun sits next to Mrs. Nerschel across the street. This is how we turn around again, but Caindo-kun's signs remain somewhat pointy. Um, I guess I'm not really impressed.
Or, if we fail to make up here, the later is awkward. Whatever happens in the future, we're going to continue our relationship with the House of the Duke of Magenta, and I want to create a good relationship here. Cough it up so I can get my mind back on it, and I'll face Caind-kun back.
”Kaindo-kun appreciates the achievements of magic itself, right? Especially if you don't know if that's in the national interest, and then you're worried about my personality and ideas?
Caindo-kun won't say anything just to return his gaze to my inquiry, but he won't say anything back, so there's no objection.
”If you're going to tell the truth, I don't think I'm a good royalty. That's more of a story now. I've been acting like I should, too, and I never dreamed the throne would roll over. I don't feel like I deserve it.”
”... I have a consciousness that I'm not feeling good enough as a royalty,” he said?
”Of course. I think it's a minority to snort when asked if they want to serve such a king. Not on my own. I don't think so.”
I really thought you were a minority. I found out that someone appreciated me more than I thought and cared about me. Don't be ashamed, I can't say I don't either. But there's too much missing for me, isn't there? Magic, time, mindset.
So I think I'm going to bump into people who have doubts like Caindkun. If I were to be king, I would be. If you don't have to be king to spread magic, it's a problem you have to face.
”I know I'm not good enough. That's why I want an understander. And the people who can help. That's why I want to discuss it. Until now, I didn't think it had to be understood, but I want to change that attitude.”
”... are you saying that this is how you set the scene up to gain my understanding?
”Stay close, I wouldn't even say. It's just that Yufi is walking with me. I want to take care of Yuffi's family. I don't want to leave the status quo, where I or the royal family are confused for a reason. Even if it seems like an extra treat.”
Caindo-kun narrowed his eyes thinly. Is it because you're still young that you haven't hidden your emotions from seeing them? That's right, I suppose. If that's what you think, there was something praiseworthy about Al, that stupid brother.
”I can't help but say all my hopes. What do you want me to do, Caindo?
”... what do you want me to do, what?
”You're dissatisfied with me because you don't like the way I swing, do you? But I have an idea of my own, something I can't even give way to. I don't understand this around me any more than I think, I don't get endorsement either. That's no choice, but it's not a good problem to give up if you don't have a choice. So I'm going to start by asking people for their opinions. I want a frank opinion.”
”It's that simple. Try to behave like a royal.”
”You don't think I'm that mindless as a royal?
”That's what I've been asking. The royal family must not bow their heads to their subordinates at all costs. And in order not to bow your head, you must always show your attitude as a norm.”
”This is tough”
Is it always right and normative? Um, in that respect, I'm having a hard time overriding my valuation because of my previous liabilities. No, I don't deserve it.
”What can I do if something happens that I have to keep my head down? Still, I am royal. How am I supposed to take responsibility?
”It's still about acting royal. If you do it right, your grievances will disappear with dew.”
”Does that mean I'm not going to make up with Yuffi now?
”... and this is a different matter. If my sister returns to the Duke's house, I can be reassured.”
”He said he was against keeping it beside me.”
”... Caind”
As Yufi tries to get himself out again, he pushes his hand in front of him. No, he said he's scared of intimidation even though he's not really staring at himself, Yufi.
And Caindo-kun, who is strengthening the pressure of losing and gazing, is amazing. Um, I wonder what's wrong with this.
”It was the rust that came out of me that caused my distrust of the royal family. I can't trust you right now, and even if you tell me to get results, it won't make any noise.... Still, I'm not going to let Yufi go”
”... Really?”
Whoa, killer! My neighbor, Yuffi, was up for a moment. This isn't an exaggeration to say hatred, but you mean you care about Yufi so much. Um, I still have an even more headache.
But for a moment, I've had my doubts. Caindo-kun has not shown the key.
”First, what do you do when Uffi returns to the Duke's house?
”What do we do, what?
”It's Yuffi's honor. Returning to the Duke's house will not erase the fact of the divorce. And I can't tell you that Uffi didn't have a problem telling me how bad Al was.”
”You think there's something wrong with my sister?
”I do.”
”Isn't it the royals who stained my sister!!”
Momentum pounds his fist on his desk and Caindo-kun reveals his anger. The look is stained with anger and stares strongly at me.
I look back at Kaindo-kun, feeling his head getting cold with a word of Kaindo-kun on the contrary.
”Problems arise because of each other. The weight of responsibility is not equal, but it's not like Uffi is any worse. It's the royal family who's been stained.”
”What the...?
”You said it yourself. He said he couldn't save Al's mind. Yufi was perfect both as a duke and next queen. But its perfectly hush-hushed and unable to develop its sensibilities or relationships as a pivotal partner. That's Yuffi's fault.”
But if he was asked to be a duke and queen, he had nothing to do with Yufi. But it was in Uffi's lack of walking and thinking that he was not likely to be next door, and it was a clear Uffi lapse that he was not able to develop enough relationships.
Of course, Al is the one who didn't pack the distance, so it's both bad. Some of this is all about people's compatibility. Speaking of bad, Al is overwhelmingly worse, but it's impossible for Yufi to be told like the victim alone.
”Then Prince Algard says what a dissatisfaction he had with his sister!
”That's not Yufi's fault...... it was too perfect. It was painful to be next door.”
”That's what...! Isn't it bad Prince Algard who couldn't drink his own shame and couldn't make it right! Is that how the royal behaves!?”
”That's why you got scrapped. Now I'm the next king.”
”... you called me Princess Odd Heavenly? When you bury what's missing from it on your sister, you say so?
”That's right. For this reason, we have also prepared a new status for Ufi. All of them got their achievements loaded and made it a beacon of honor restoration. This was decided by Father and Lord Grants. To be clear, I'm not going to pinch your grievances. But then your heart will not be saved. I can't repeat the same mistakes I made when I was Al.”
Because I have no choice. That's the right thing to swallow. And you have to be patient. Life is such a pile of things. There's something I really need to swallow.
If you can still save it. I don't want to abandon you if you can reach this. Even more so if you say that's who you want to reach out to.
”Saving...! What do you know about me!? All I could do was see my beloved sister swung at the royal convenience and her honour and heart broken! Say what you know!!”
Caindo-kun finally takes his seat and shouts. No one could do anything about this problem. We all had equal hang-ups and lost sight of the opportunity.
Who's worse, everyone's worse. It got up by that little pile. But that's why I can't just mourn and move on. We have to move on.
”Your dissatisfaction will be there after all. Whether we, the royal family, will not hurt Yufi again. I can't wipe my distrust because I can't take that certainty. Fine, then. Okay, I don't know if you're convinced, but let me make a suggestion.”
”Suggestion...?
”Try me. In a way that you are convinced. Whatever you want, you just have to see if you deserve me as the next king and see if I can get enough to keep Yuffi.”
