49 Be Careful In The Future. (1/2)

When Izuku returned home, his mother was already there, waiting for him to arrive.

”Izuku! Are you okay?!” Inko jumped at Izuku and embraced him.

”Mom..I am fine. Don´t worry, nothing happened to us, only our house got a bit messy.” Izuku replied and hugged her back.

”That´s all that matters!”

Inko was devastated when she heard what happened from Toga.

She checked out her private collection of poisons and her personal stuff like credit cards, but luckily, nothing was missing.

She didn't really understand, why the burglar didn't steal anything, she was just glad that her son was fine.

Izuku was grateful that his mom believed him. He looked around the room, but couldn´t locate Toga.

”Mom? Where is Toga-san? Did she leave already?” he asked.

”Yeah, she left a few minutes ago. But really..She is such a sweet child. When I was shocked about the whole situation, she just kept saying that my son was fine. She kept on reassuring me, until I´ve calmed down.” Inko smiled.

'That girl...honestly...Good job.' Izuku smiled.

”Ah.. I almost forgot. It´s Toga-san´s birthday tomorrow. I know we still need to deal with this mess, but would you help me prepare a cake?” Izuku asked.

”Sure, Sure, invite her over, but I don´t have any presents for her. Izuku, did you buy her something?”

”Don´t worry, just help me with the cake, you don´t need to give her anything. I already bought her a pendant.”

Inko smiled and said, ”What a good boy you are!”

They chatted the night away as they prepared the cake.

5 hours have passed and the cake was almost finished.

”AH! I forgot I wanted to wash our clothes today! Izuku dear, please finish this by yourself, I need to gather our laundry.” Inko said.

”Yeah, sure. I am almost done with the last part anyway.” Izuku replied.

Inko picked up all of her clothes and put them into a bin.

”Now, it´s only Izuku´s clothes and I am done.”

She walked up the stairs and opened the door to his room. The first thing that hit her eyes, was the bloody All Might blanket. Inko was so shocked, that she just screamed.

”IZUKU!!!”

Hearing her cry, Izuku switly dashed towards his room to see whether she was fine.

He looked at the object which she was holding and couldn´t help but curse.

'How could I forget! Damn it! Stupid blanket!'

When Toga sucked his blood, he took off his clothes, however, his blanket wasn´t spared. It´s not like Izuku forgot about the bloody blanket, but it didn´t cross his mind when his mom asked him about laundry.

'I was careless! How am I going to explain this now!?' Izuku panicked.

The two of them stared at each other for a while without saying anything.

Izuku decided to break the awkward silence and said, ”Look...It´s not what it seems like...Trust me..”

'God, I hope she won't connect this to the burglar...'

Inko looked at him and said, ”Izuku...you...you don´t need to explain anything. However, you are too young for this..”

Izuku looked at her completely bewildered. ”What is she talking about. What am I not old enough for?”

Inko continued. ”I know that those urges are sometimes... uncontrollable. But, you shouldn´t be doing it yet. You are only fourteen.”
