He picked up his phone and dialed All Might´s number.
”Toga, Can you wait for a bit, I need to call that man.”
”Well..I survived till now, I might as well wait a few more minutes.” Toga said and sat down on the truck tire.
”Thank you.”
After a few seconds, a frail voice answered the phone.
”Ah.. young Midoriya.. I see that you took a day off.”
Hearing him Izuku sighed and apologized, ”Yeah, I am sorry. I had some family problems and I had to take a day off. I plan on relaxing in some cake store today. I will continue with your training tomorrow.”
Hearing the word cake, Toga giggled in delight as if she couldn´t wait anymore. Izuku smiled at her reaction and continued.
”I hope you are not mad at me for taking a day off.”
All Might laughed and reassured him, ”No, not at all. You have worked hard. You definitely deserve a day off. You are so fast in cleaning, that I could give you a month off and you will still manage to do it in time.”
Izuku puffed his chest in pride and asked, ”My friend told me you wanted to meet me. What was it for?”
”Ah, I was planning on giving you a gift for your 14th birthday.”
”Wait.. isn´t my birthday in 5 months?” Izuku was confused.
”Well.. I won´t be able to meet you again till you pass the exams at U.A. So.. based on that, I wanted to give you your present today. After all, you are my sucessor, the new symbol of peace!” All Might replied in happiness.
Hearing those words, Izuku jolted. 'This year, I really thought hard whether I should even become a hero. My enthusiasm about being a hero died off months ago. I used poison on a girl, killed tens of dungeon wolves and goblins, after that, even myself. Can I really be the symbol of peace when I am this twisted?'
Izuku silently replied, ”I am flattered... Where do you want to meet?”
All Might thought for a while before replying, ”How about we meet at the beach in 8 hours?”
”Sounds good, Goodbye All Might.”
”Have a great time young Midoriya.”
*Beep*
”So, did you prepare something for me, I am dying of hunger.” Toga complained.
Izuku came back to his senses and smiled. he put away his phone and placedhis hand in front of him.
Toga stared at him in confusion.
A portal opened in front of them scaring Toga in the process.
Izuku took out some warm toasts and handed them to Toga.
”But how...Your mom told me you were quirkless. Did you lie to her?” Toga frowned.
”Did you forget you dummy? You practically killed me, but I survived. This is also a part of my quirk and I will only show it to people I trust the most.” Izuku replied.
”Oh, I am so glad that you trust me Izuku.” Toga smiled.
