A pungent smell fumed from the silver steel needles. Shi Yan felt a twinge in his brain. The soul pond in his soul altar was polluted immediately. He was shaken as he found it hard to urge his power Upanishad.

”My Pure Gold Spirit Ants are mutant after several generations. They are tougher than their ancestors in the Absolute Beginning Era. You shouldn't dream about using your Devouring power Upanishad to eat them!” Zhen Ru was haughty. ”Before I came here, I'd discussed with Edgar. We let the expert of the Devouring Clan attack the ants. I'm certain about the effects already. My Pure Gold Spirit Ants have been mutant for many generations,; the Devouring and Corrosion power Upanishads can do no harm to them. If you don't believe me, you can try.”

While talking, the silver needle pierced through Shi Yan's glabella.

Checking his body, he found that the Pure Gold Spirit Ants abnormal. This sort of ant was much bigger and they had fangs and horns. It seemed like they were a crossbreed between ants and some monstrous insects.

He urged Devouring power Upanishad but then, he found that after the Pure Gold Spirit Ants got into his blood, they got his blood aura so the Devouring power Upanishad ignored them.

If he used the Corrosion power Upanishad, unless he eroded his own body, he couldn't do anything to the ants.

”Drink my blood? Eat my flesh?” Shi Yan paled. He discreetly urged his power to stabilize his body and the soul while trying to talk nonsense to seize more time to break this situation. ”Isn't Yuan Zu a better option?
