Chapter 1070: Hosting The Younger Generation (2/2)
Many announced their arrival before a voice resounded out.
”There no need to stand on ceremony among the younger generation. Everyone, please enter!”
A polite voice resounded out, causing their eyes to lit up. They could recognize it was Alchemist Davis's voice, but to be so humble while enduring their rude and unannounced entry...
How polite!
Even though no one came to receive them, they entered with their faces beaming with smiles.
Davis looked at their silhouettes as he nodded with a pleasant smile. How could he not be polite when they're this generous!?
He would be doing a sinful deed not to entertain them!
Davis sheepishly rubbed his chin and looked at Evelynn, ”Evelynn, why don't you be seated?”
”Mhm...” Evelynn nodded her head and turned behind.
Surrounding then behind were a few sofas that seemed to be capable of no more than a few people. Although this huge hall seemed to be capable of hosting manly people, it seemed to a place where ceremonies were held, so without anything being pre-emptively readied, only a few sofas were available.
She looked at the comparatively majestic sofa that could host two people and sat on it. She knew that Davis would soon accompany her by her side after inviting the guests.
'Or should I say... opportunistic and greedy guests...' Evelynn narrowed her eyes, but there was a faint smile on her face that made her seem civilized.
Soon, Ravalat Alstreim arrived and quickly bowed, but Kayan Alstreim and Kayale Alstreim went one step ahead of him before they slightly bowed as they congratulated, ”Congratulations on becoming a King Grade Alchemist, Alchemist Davis.”
”Perhaps, Alchemist Davis is the only person whom I would have the honor to see become a Pill King in the near future...” Kayale Alstreim additionally said with a smile.
”You are too kind...” Davis smiled back as he gestured, ”Please...”
Kayale Alstreim lightly blushed before she turned around and walked towards the sofa. Kayan Alstreim blinked before he followed her behind.
His little sister, who was so against it, was now obedient in front of a man?
Her words sounded fake and keeping up civility to him, but he could tell that it was what she felt after truly hearing about Alchemist Davis's achievements.
Indeed, after being convinced by her brother Kayan Alstreim these days, she became expectant of her future of being together with Alchemist Davis as well. In her eyes, Alchemist Davis didn't seem inferior in any way, but instead, was a talent who was even stronger than her brother.
That major fact itself caused her to look at him in a romantic light.
However, the only thing she disliked was being grouped into this along with numerous other women. It made her furious as she had her own pride but was also afraid that if she were to lose this chance, she knew that another man like Alchemist Davis probably wouldn't appear ever again!
It forced her to participate in this farce!
Ravalat Alstreim's lips twitched as he looked at these two siblings slight him. He didn't lose civility and kept his smile before walking towards the other side, where another long sofa was kept capable of holding a few people.
At this time, many youths started to enter, congratulate, before moving to a corner. However, a meticulous person who saw this event might be desolate promptly asked for Alchemist Davis's permission before he turned the entire place into one of a banquet atmosphere.
Only the food was missing, but there seemed to be many beverages and alcohol digits drinks as well as accommodation for over a few hundred people! It quickly became filled with youths engaging in a boisterous atmosphere.
Davis stared at the person with a death grudge. Thanks to that person publically asking to arrange a banquet-style gathering, he could not easily decline.
But since he accepted, he would have to entertain these brats for a long time!!!
”Good! Very good!” Davis nodded his head and praised the person with a cold smile on his face.
”Haha, it's not much...” A handsome man with blonde hair and a familiar face awkwardly laughed, ”Claudius Alstreim is glad to be of service...”
