Chapter 1052: Ill Show You How Rogue I Am (2/2)

”Then...”

”I meant both of your worries, the one back at the Jaisi Alstreim one...”

Davis couldn't help but still chuckle at what he witnessed in the Jaise Alstreim Inn through his soul sense. Surprisingly, those youths were all gathered in that place to earn his favor!

Initially, he felt dumbfounded, but it eventually made sense to him. That's why he changed his mind.

Even though it seemed disgraceful, it was not in their perspective. Earning his favor meant rising up through ranks and status for them, and since he was a youth, he wouldn't be impervious to beauty. This probably formed the basis of their reasoning, making them try to do something like convening a gathering to specially discuss earning his favor.

Most likely, their first agenda should be how to bring him out of the Purple Guest Palace, but since he magically appeared there, everyone became taken aback, losing the chance to interact with him.

'Both of my worries?' Evelynn felt confused before it dawned on her.

”Those youths... Are they all...?”

”Since they seem like they want to please me, I merely gave them a chance...” Davis deviously grinned.

All the ingredients and treasures he listed and gave to Jaisi Alstreim was at King Grade! Without even having to spend a dime or having to search store after store, he would be able to obtain it all, all the while relaxing in the Purple Guest Palace like an Emperor!

”Husband, you're a rogue...” Evelynn couldn't help but giggle.

”Indeed, I'll show you how rogue I am after we return...” Davis shamelessly reached out his hand again, causing Evelynn to dodge before she instantly rushed off into the distance, her bashful figure and laughter resounding like a melody to his ears.

Nadia, who was behind, had her lips curls into one of confusion.

They seem to be having so much fun by teasing each other?

'Maybe I should try teasing master some other day...'

”Idiot! Since Alchemist Davis already came out, there's no reason to talk about how to attract him out of the Purple Guest Palace!”

”Naive! Do you really think Alchemist Davis would roam the city for days? Judging by his previous movements, I'd say that he would quickly return to the Purple Guest Palace before the day ends and come out a few days or months later!”

”By that time, we would have no choice but to wait for a long time!”

”Shut up! No one asked about your biased assumptions!”

”You!”

A heated discussion was going on to and fro over a round table. There were hundreds of younger generational experts here, but it was divided into three groups. The Burning Sea Brigade, the Brilliant Flame Corps, and the other groups, plus individuals who weren't in any powers.

The gathering had just started on the top floor of the Jaisi Alstreim Inn, and it looked like it out was already going to turn into a brawl. It was understandable. After all, the Burning Sea Brigade and the Brilliant Flame Corps never got along with each other.

Their relationship was one of rivalry and hidden battles that took place under the nose of the elders.

The leaders of the two groups stayed calm as they looked at their members, scolding each other. However, a sudden sound attracted all of their attention, and even the quarrels quickly died down.

The door to the hall opened, and a man quickly came running in, his expression a bit stressed. He quickly ran behind Kayan Alstreim, the Burning Sea Brigade's Leader, and whispered through soul transmission.

”What!? Is it true?” Kayan Alstreim abruptly stood up.

However, his expression changed as he knew that it was too late. Everyone was already looking at them speak, and his echo of surprise just gave it away.

”What happened?” Ravalat Alstreim, the leader of the Brilliant Flame Corps, asked.

”That's right! Information should be shared commonly!”

”To reach the end goal, at least the minimum information should be shared!”

The third group's young experts also raised their voices of concern, primarily tinged with reluctance and jealousy that they didn't obtain the information first.
