Song Yan sat there, his eyes bloodshot. He glared at Gu Huaisheng, his shoulders heaving violently as he tried his best to suppress his emotions.

Uncle Song walked over to block his line of sight without batting an eyelid, and said, ”Huaisheng, Xiao Yan's mood hasn't been very good recently, don't mind him, Ruo Xue is our family's daughter-in-law, you don't have to worry about the hospital, we will take good care of her.”

Gu Huaisheng walked around the two of them to the bedside, looking at Gu Ruoxue's pale white face, he sighed: ”Uncle, since you said it like that, I believe that the two of you will take good care of Ruo Xue, but I hope that you can watch over her a little. Recently, her emotions have been unstable, I'm worried that she will do something stupid.”

Uncle Song agreed before asking, ”Huaisheng, do you want to eat something? Your aunt has already gone to buy some food.”

”No need, I just came to visit my sister. I'll be leaving soon.” Gu Huaisheng calmly refused.

Uncle Song stood at the side, his smile and words carrying a sense of formality. For the wedding between the two families, anyone would say that it was Song Family that had climbed onto the Gu family's huge tree, so when facing the people of the Gu family, they would always feel inferior.

If the two families were to really be on the same side, and news of Gu Ruoxue going to the bar had spread to Song Family two days ago, the two families would definitely get divorced. But Song Family could not bring up this matter, and they would have to take care of Gu Ruoxue extremely carefully, afraid that something bad would happen to her again.

Although they were angry in their hearts, they could only endure it for the sake of the Gu family's power and influence.

All three of them were silent in the room.

Song Yan's gaze locked onto Gu Huaisheng's body, as if wanting to poke a hole out of his body.

Uncle Song looked at him over and over, but Song Yan completely ignored him.

Not long after, Aunt Song returned from buying food, and when she opened the door, she immediately saw Gu Huaisheng. Her face immediately revealed a happy expression, and then she put down the food and said, ”Huaisheng, how long have you been here? I just went downstairs to buy food, and I was worried that Ruo Xue would get hungry.”

”Not long later, I came to visit Ruo Xue. I'll be leaving after a while.”

Gu Huaisheng said indifferently.

Previously, she could feel Gu Huaisheng's dissatisfaction towards her just because of her attitude towards Lo Lishu. Now that something had happened to Gu Ruoxue, she was really worried about what Gu Huaisheng had said to the Gu family, and even wanted Ruo Xue and Song Yan to divorce each other.

”Um, Huaisheng, why don't you sit for a while.”

Aunt Song said as she opened the lunchbox beside him, she then handed it to Gu Huaisheng and smiled, ”Huaisheng, you've been busy for an entire day and you still haven't eaten, don't go yet, let's eat here.”

Gu Huaisheng looked at the food in front of him, a trace of impatience flashing across his eyes.

He wanted to accompany Li Shu back to eat. Aunt Song being so attentive would only make him more impatient.

But thinking that Ruo Xue still needed his Song Family to take care of, she stretched out her hand to receive it.

”Mom.”

Song Yan who was seated at the side, could not bear with the appearance of the Aunt Song and shouted.

Aunt Song turned around and looked at him, glaring at him.

Song Yan clenched his fists tightly, and turned his head, no longer looking at the two of them.

Aunt Song took out a portion of food from her bag and passed it to Song Yan, ”Eat.”

”I don't eat.” Song Yan immediately turned his head and rejected, and said angrily.

Aunt Song frowned and glanced at Gu Huaisheng. He did not see any special expression on his face, so he stuffed the food in his hands into Song Yan's hands, ”You have to take care of Gu Ruoxue here today, you must eat something.”

Song Yan wanted to retort, but Aunt Song secretly reached out his hand and pinched his waist, thus he swallowed the words that were coming out of his mouth.
