Beiming Lan tapped the tip of her foot and jumped up onto the branch of an ancient tree. This tree was the largest in the area, so its branches were extremely wide, which made it a good place to rest.

”Brother, come up. We'll stay here for the night. There are many magical beasts tonight, so it's not safe for us to stay down here.”

BeiMing Chu jumped up the tree trunk like Beiming Lan Yue. The two took out some dry food and water and ate them quickly, then closed their eyes and started to meditate.

He opened his eyes and looked at the little girl beside him, Beiming Lan Yue. The little girl in front of him had a skin as white as white feather, and her face was watery to the point that it seemed like she could squeeze water out of it. Her long eyelashes cast two dense shadows on her fair cheeks.

Beiming Lan Yue opened her eyes helplessly, and looked at BeiMing Chu: ”Is there something?”

BeiMing Chu caressed Beiming Lan Yue's hair and said: ”I notice that my Yue'er has changed recently. She has become more confident, more resplendent, and more mysterious.”

”Also, I seem to understand a lot of things that I didn't understand before. Can you tell brother where you learned all this from?”

Beiming Lanyue cursed in her heart. She knew he would be suspicious, so she pretended to be confused and scratched her head. ”I don't know what's going on. Since I got injured last time, I've got a lot of things in my head, so I naturally got to know.”

Beiming Langyue stuck out her tongue and tried her best to act cute.

BeiMing Chu thought deeply, that made sense. The change in Beiming Lan Yue had started from the moment she was injured, and probably changed because she hit her head. After all, this was a good thing and not a bad thing, so she no longer bothered about it.
