C55 (1/2)
It was already noon.
The ice in the cliff was bone-chilling cold.
Qiao Liangjin looked down and saw that there was a dense fog. It was as if it had never been exposed to the sun all year round. The plants under it were very lush, and the water vapor they produced had always been circling halfway up the mountain.
Over time, it became miasma.
Clenching her teeth, Qiao Liangjin continued to climb down the mountain.
Suddenly, a sharp pain came from her palm, as if something had drilled into the wound on her palm.
Qiao Liangjin was dazed for a moment as she slid down the rope for a long time. Only when her right hand was dripping with blood did she hang herself.
Qiao Liangjin gritted her teeth and looked at the bottomless chasm with a bit of dizziness.
Give up? He gave up and continued to climb back up, blood still dripping from his wounds.
The distance to the bottom of the cliff shouldn't be too far.
Qiao Liangjin pressed her body against the cliff and took a deep breath.
He could already smell a heavy, damp smell.
He was still feeling dizzy.
She kept reminding herself not to faint, not to faint.
This miasma was even worse than she had imagined.
In the next second, she powerlessly let go of the rope.
The little fox on his shoulder seemed to have become brighter.
In the distance, there seemed to be a white shadow flying over. So, there were ghosts at the bottom of this cliff.
Thinking of this, she finally stopped thinking.
After a long while, Qiao Liangjin slowly opened her eyes.
He sat up and stretched his limbs. Weird, no injuries? He raised his head and looked at the cliff. He should have fallen very hard.
Was it because the plants here were so strong that he wasn't injured?
Then, he suddenly thought of Yuesheng and hurriedly called out, ”Yuesheng Yuesheng.”
A mass of foxes with green flames approached her.
The size of his body seemed to be slightly larger than Yu Sheng's.
Qiao Liangjin asked hesitantly, ”Yusheng?”
The flames on Silver Fox's body became even more vigorous.
Qiao Liangjin carefully stretched out her hand, wanting to touch that ball of fire and see if it would be able to burn her.
He was pleasantly surprised to find that the flame only felt warm.
She hugged Silver Fox and said coquettishly, ”So you're a warm baby!”
Silver Fox only blinked. Leaning on her side, he used the fire on his body to warm Qiao Liangjin's somewhat cold body.
Qiao Liangjin stroked Silver Fox's soft fur and asked in puzzlement: ”Why did you become so much bigger?”
Silver Fox did not reply, but used her pink tongue to lightly lick Qiao Liangjin's palm.
Qiao Liangjin looked around again.
The forest was everywhere, damp to the bone, cold to the bone.
Silver Fox was still focused on licking Qiao Liangjin's injured palm.
Qiao Liangjin discovered that her palm didn't seem to be hurting anymore.
I was about to say something.
She heard a white shadow flitting past from the distance and gently landed in front of her.
Looking at the person in front of him, Qiao Liangjin wanted to say something. She didn't know what to say.
This surprise came too unexpectedly.
”You …” Qiao Liangjin finally opened her mouth to speak.
”I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I followed you.” Su Qing squatted down and grabbed Qiao Liangjin's hand. She carefully examined her palm and took out a bottle of ointment from her sleeve, gently rubbing it on her wound.
Qiao Liangjin moved closer to clear the air, carefully sizing up his face that was as smooth as jade, as well as her earlobes that were like pearls.
Was he dreaming? How could it be this guy?
Qiao Liangjin tapped the little fox on the forehead and pointed at Su Moyu. ”Actually, you already knew that he was coming, right?”
The little fox rolled his eyes and said, ”I don't know anything. Don't ask me, I just woke up.”
Qiao Liangjin glanced at Yuesheng in dissatisfaction and then wanted to retract her hand.
Qing Qing didn't even let go as she continued to apply medicine on her. It was polished very slowly and carefully, as if it were a fine piece of jade that was being polished.
Qiao Liangjin wanted to ask him a lot of questions, wanted to ask him how he knew she was here, wanted to ask him why he was able to meet him at the cliff, why he wasn't afraid of the miasma.
There were too many questions she wanted to ask, but looking at how he carefully applied the medicine on her, she didn't break the silence between the two.
When Su Qian finished wiping the ointment, the clear and bright voice was surprisingly gentle. ”It should be fine. It won't hurt anymore.”
Qiao Liangjin nodded and stood up. She used the compass she made and looked around.
Yuesheng opened up his palm and a jade-green firelight landed on his palm.
The surroundings immediately brightened up.
Qiao Liangjin looked at the palm of her hand and sighed, ”If this was a ghost movie, the effects of using this would be too great, too perfect.”
”What did you say?”
Qiao Liangjin waved her hand and said with a smile, ”It's nothing, it's nothing. Let's go.”
”She's a woman from another world. What she said you wouldn't understand, she's from the future.”
