The door to the bathroom was slammed shut by Qin Yizhao, who sat on the side of the bed with a bit of distress. She felt an endless chill coming from all directions, making her feel very cold.

After a while, Zhu Ruiyan wiped the tears off her face, she took her pajamas from the bed, and walked to the bathroom and waited.

After showering, Qin Yizhao felt much more comfortable. Zhu Ruiyan cooked in the kitchen as usual, and after eating dinner, Qin Yizhao pulled Zhu Ruiyan along to the bedroom to rest early. For the entire night, Qin Yizhao slept soundly with Zhu Ruiyan in his embrace. Although he did not speak, his movements were strangely intimate.

Qin Yizhao woke up at five in the morning and prepared to clean up. Zhu Ruiyan also woke up. She looked at her and asked, ”Why don't you sleep for a while?”

Zhu Ruiyan shook his head: ”I've slept well, do you want to go back to Qing County?” Qin Yizhao nodded his head and started to tidy up her own clothes.

Zhu Ruiyan quickly got up and went to the kitchen. Last night, there was some porridge that had been cooked, so Zhu Ruiyan placed it inside the microwave to heat it up.

”Oh, I'm fine.” Zhu Ruiyan shook her head. Seeing that there was a picture of Qin Yizhao on the television, she could imagine his current expression to be as cold and indifferent as the pictures on the television. Zhu Ruiyan continued to speak: ”Are you feeling better?”

”Do you feel sorry for me?” Qin Yizhao's tone carried some surprise, but also some happiness.
