16 Cherry Blossom Festival: Part 1 (1/2)

When morning came Ha Eun woke up earlier than everyone else. She took her phone from her purse and walked downstairs. She noticed she had tons of missed calls and unread messages as well as emails. She's only been gone a day and work is already going crazy without her.

She decides to call the Chairman since she had the most missed calls from him.

”Ha Eun!” he said but he didn't sound excited, he was more worried than anything.

”What happened?” she asked. He doesn't answer for a few seconds. He didn't want her to worry but he felt like she should know, since it concerned her.

”You're all over the news” he said. Ha Eun didn't know how that was important. She is always on television, so this didn't faze her but what the Chairman said next, did make her lose her composure ”They are saying that your marriage with Mr. Kim is fake”

How did the media find out about this so quickly?

”Seo Ah supposedly had an interview with one of the most popular news networks and its gone viral” The Chairman was worried for his Ha Eun. The board will surely want another meeting and who knows what they might do? A long time ago he chose those people as his board members but now they are just a pain in his ass and trying to ruin his Ha Eun's life.

Ha Eun scoffed, she knew Seo Ah was up to something when she started the whole argument that day, she must have planned this right after she got fired. If only she was a quick a thinker in job related issues as she is in making rumors.

”First of all, we have to get rid of all the articles online” Ha Eun said over the phone but the Chairman already did that.

”The damage has already been done” he told her ”Now all there's left to do is face it head on”

After they talked Ha Eun went on her social media page, people were leaving nasty comments and laughing at her. She was also losing followers. Its not that she cared about the followers, but she did care about appearances. She needed to make people believe that her relationship with Chang Wook was real.

She hurried back to the room and laid down pillows all around Chang Wook and laid down next to him. In the camera it looked like they were in bed, not on the floor so that was good, now all that needed to be done was make them look like they were a sleeping couple in love. Chang Wook felt a slight tickle on his face and smelled apples. He felt something warm with a heartbeat cuddled up next to him. He slowly opened his eyes and saw how his arm was over Ha Eun's waist and how she was taking selfies of both of them.

”What the hell?!” he yelled. Ha Eun was startled by his sudden scream and got up.
