On the second day, before Ran Mei could even get up, Lan Ling excitedly ran to Huai Jin's hall to wake him up from her sleep. She then called Ran Mei out, urging him to wash up and dress him up.
Because he was going to hunt, Ran Mei chose a blue Hu suit for Huai Jin, and tied his head with a man's bun. Huai Jin's original appearance carried a bit of a heroic spirit, making him look just like a handsome young man next door.
Just as the bun was pulled back, Huai Jin didn't even have time to take a glance before she was pulled into the hunting grounds carriage by Lan Ling. On the way, Lan Ling looked left and right, unable to sit still at all.
Huai Jin frowned, she felt that Lan Ling's enthusiasm for the hunt was a little over, so she looked at Lan Ling who was lying beside the window with an excited expression. Huai Jin coughed lightly, and signaled Ran Mei with her eyes.
Ran Mei also noticed it, and she moved to the side to obstruct Lan Ling's line of sight, as she pulled down the carriage's curtain and tucked it in, ”Feng Da Feng, stop blowing on the cold.”
Lan Ling pouted: ”I'm not afraid.”
”Princess is afraid.”
Lan Ling was immediately deflated, and could only obediently stay in the carriage and count her hair.
When they arrived at the hunting grounds, Huai Jin realised that there were tents set up specifically outside the hunting grounds for the ladies to change their clothes. Furthermore, the hunt would only start when the emperor came in at noon.
Currently, the group of young ladies outside the tent were all dressed in red, with only Huai Jin dressed in a man's attire.
In that moment, no one recognized Huai Jin, they only thought that she was some young master from some family, and the other young miss even gave him a look, it seemed that she had taken a fancy to Huai Jin.
The Da Wan Kingdom was originally a world on horseback, so people were already used to it, so everyone was already used to it.
However, Lan Ling and Ran Mei knew that the young man beside them was a girl. One of them was already extremely happy.
Ran Mei looked at Huai Jin awkwardly, and said carefully: ”Princess, this is the first time this servant has come to the hunting grounds, so...”
Huai Jin waved her hand to indicate that she was fine. After all, it was Ran Mei's first time here, but the original owner should not be. Thus, Huai Jin very calmly found a seat to sit on.
However, just as Huai Jin sat down, a young lady who had been giving her a meaningful glance walked over and reminded her: ”Little gongzi, the gongzi aren't waiting here.”
