1310 Blackblade (1/2)

After exiting The Beast's room, they saw a large and narrow bridge around the corner. At the end of the bridge stood the territory of the last Boss in the Blackrock Spires, General Drakkisath.

Before crossing the bridge, Lu Li and his party needed to break through the barrier at the entrance.

Of course, the designers would use this chance to cause players some grief. They placed small waves of Horde Berserkers nearby as guards.

”What are you guys looking at?” Lu Li asked as he pointed at the monsters, ”Hurry up and drag them over here!”

”I'll go first.”

Azure Sea Breeze was a little slower than usual, but he still went ahead. After all, he was the Main Tank. In this situation, no one else had the responsibility to take the aggro.

It was good that he didn't need to run a long way just to take aggro. He just needed to fire a gun towards them to gain their attention.

After the monsters crossed the bridge, everyone rushed into the fray at once. The battle was near the shore, so the rushing skill of the Berserkers didn't have any effect.

There were also a few people who were brave enough to fight the Berserkers on the bridge.

After crossing the bridge, a group of monsters could be seen standing outside General Drakkisath's hall. These weren't mere Berserkers; they had been mixed with dragon blood.

”Are these strong?” Azure Sea Breeze asked. He had learned his lesson from last time.

”These are the door guards of the General Drakkisath. They are the last Boss' personal guards. Do You think that they'll be weak?”

Lu Li was trying to recall the information he had about these monsters. After all, he was never in a serious guild in his previous life. A randomly put-together squad would never be able to reach this place, which meant that the only source of information was on the forums. However, he didn't know that he was going to be reborn, so he didn't pay much attention to this.

These monsters were quite powerful. If mistakes were made, they would be in a perilous situation.

Mere observations weren't enough to determine the actual strength of these monsters, which meant that Azure Sea Breeze needed to test them out by rushing forward with his shield up.

The monsters were instantly drawn to Azure Sea Breeze, so he immediately used mitigation. It was because of this mitigation that he managed to avoid dying in an instant from the consecutive critical strikes. All of these monsters were capable of reaching a 100% critical strike chance. Of course, this was only the first attack, otherwise, Lu Li and the party might as well surrender.

As Azure Sea Breeze gained their aggro, Lu Li had already used Sap to control one of the Draconians at the side while one was already Hexed.

This meant that half of the original numbers were already redundant.

The party prioritised the killing of the Horde warriors first. Then, they killed the Draconians one by one.

These Draconians were all magic-based monsters, so they were able to spit fire. The flames that came out of their mouths dealt extremely high damage, which signified the importance of having sufficient fire-resistance stats. If the three Draconian warriors spit fire at the same time, the accumulated damage would be enough to one-shot the players.

”Be wary of your surroundings. Wandering, take the aggro. Everyone else, use your crowd control as often as possible. Let me DPS.”

The difficult part about this was not these six monsters, but the other six patrolling monsters.

They needed to clear enough of the first six before the next six arrived, or else they would be wiped. Their equipment was more than sufficient, so if they wiped here, things wouldn't be optimistic.

After clearing the door guards, they went into the main hall.

Drakkisath was a ruthless and deceptive strategist. In the battle of Ragnaros against Nefarian's armies, he forced all the Dark Iron Dwarves out of the Blackrock Mountains after defeating them in battle.

The Blackrock Spires was hidden in the inner parts of the mountain which were mostly inaccessible. This area smelt of death.

Each ascending floor gradually rejected the embrace of the earth. Furthermore, the insides of the Spires were blocked off from the outside, which prevented those inside from experiencing the sun. Most people wouldn't dare to enter this place.

However, Draconians weren't affected by these living conditions. They were always willing to fight for their race.
