Noise filled Lin Jie's ears as he stepped foot into the inner shrine. However, they were not shrieks, but pattering of rain instead! The rain seemed gentle but was, in fact, merciless like water arrows as the raindrops merged the instant Lin Jie entered and shot to pin his legs down.

Sea Mage Laney was an intelligent Boss and did not follow the aggro mechanism strictly. He was vexed at Lin Jie for stealing his Seaheart Pearl, and hence he had been targeting him.
However, Lin Jie was prepared as the Sea Mage was still a Mage that controlled the Water Elements. Such control-based magic, that's similar to Ice Mages, would be rendered useless with the Holy Light Rejuvenation Potion.
Lin Jie blended into the thousand Paladins immediately after he avoided the Sea Mage's attack and hid his head cowardly.
The inner shrine was a bedroom and a humongous one at that. A 15 meters wide crystal bed was placed inside. The bed was a dark navy color, and the surface was stimulated extremely realistically to be the sea, sometimes calm, other times violent, and occasionally thunderous.

Special Feature: All attacks by the Sea Bed have an additional 50 yards of attacking distance, with an additional 1,000 points of water elemental damage.
Special Feature: Sea Condemnation! When the Sea Bed is destroyed, its owner's attributes' upper limit will decrease by 50%.
”What the heck, Legendary item!” Lin Jie was astonished to find that the large bed was a Legendary item. Water beds were sold in real life as well, but more for intimate purposes. This sea bed was very powerful as it was the bed of the ocean.
Besides the crazy healing rate, the two other special features were overwhelming in their own senses. For the first feature, what was the concept of taking into account an additional 40 yards of travel distance? The furthest attack distance of a Mage or Hunter was around 40 yards only. Hence, the attack would have reached its distance limit after reaching the bed! Even if one had somehow practiced skills to increase travel distances, the damage to the Sea Mage would decrease by 60%.
The second feature was cheating! Additional 50 yards of attack distance with additional 1,000 damage points.
It was crucial to understand that the bed was only around 20 yards in size! If the Sea Mage was shameless enough to perch himself at the bed's edge, he would be able to attack freely, and no one would be able to retaliate. The last Sea Condemnation should be a constraint to the Sea Mage, as once the bed was destroyed, its owner's attributes upper limit would decrease.
”Viscount, join my camp,” said Tyrese and incorporated Lin Jie into her team.
Lin Jie observed Tyrese and was surprised by her status. Although in his previous life, he had already understood how powerful she had been, he could not help but be in shock. Tyrese was standing on dozens of halos:

The Sea Mage's body began to rise from the Sea Bed. He was looking as dolente as ever with his azure clothing and cerulean hair. However, his eyes were filled with malice and bloodthirst while his right hand was the most horrifying looking. It was covered in a pale grey powder and swollen to the size of a man's calf. It looked unsettling as it dragged on the ground.
This was the remnant strength formed by the heaps of unrefined Seaheart Pearl Powder.
”Hmph, you dare to intrude the Mesosaprobic Shrine, die!” The Sea Mage raised his gargantuan right hand, and the vapors seemed to be compressed into a sinking curtain!

Tyrese raised her Holy Sword high as the exuberant Holy Light transformed into an angel, and her sword pierced towards the curtain! The blade split the curtain into half while the remnant strength prodded towards Sea Mage's heart! Life Seal was able to seal the life signs of the friendly party as well as transform into a sharp blade capable of killing enemies.
However, when the holy sword came into contact with the sea bed, the atmosphere twisted, and as though clay oxen entering the sea, nothing was heard again.
This was the spatial manipulation effect of the sea bed.
