The skill book turned into white light, and a gorgeous sign appeared in Dejected Night's Skill column—Flash.
Dejected Night waved his wand and stepped through a hole which appeared in the air suddenly. In the blink of an eye, he tore through space, and his body appeared 20 yards away!
There was no Casting time and Casting delay for the Flash skill!
”Ice Rain!” shouted Dejected Night.
Film-like ice dropped down from the air. This was the most basic Ice Mage's Area-Of-Effect skill, and it only had an additional 15% bonus attack effect which was quite weak. However, it was one of the best skills to use to lure aggro successfully! Moreover, the deceleration effect of the skill had now turned into an advantage for the team. Now, with the assistance of Dejected Night and his Ice Rain skill, each of them just needed to lure 10 Evil Eye Avatars each, which was definitely much easier than before!
This was the perfect exemplification of how a single skill could affect the prowess of a job!
”Invaders, fear… is coming!”
The Evil Eye's pupil turned dark, and the fifth wave of its avatars was refreshed!
”Gather the monsters all together! Night, control!” shouted Lin Jie.
All of them turned back and lured the Evil Eye Avatars to the middle of the level! Lin Jie bumped his way through into the center of the monsters crowd, creating a path so that the rest could get out. At the same time, as his health bar had decreased to less than 5% due to the attacks from the Evil Eye Avatars when he paved the way out for the others, he quickly activated the Undefeated Anger skill!
”Frost Nova!” Dejected Night bellowed, and ice surrounded all the present monsters!
”Great!” From where Lin Jie stood, his blood erupted like a volcano! Blood spewed out from both of his swords up to almost 20 feet high into the air! He activated the Death Rage, Blood Power and Wind Rider Blade Aura Executioner skills altogether, and great damage figures jumped out. At the moment when his Attack Power was the highest, he activated Army Obliteration!
Broken Blade thrust out three consecutive times, and gusts of Blade Aura howled like hungry wild wolves against the blade which was covered in flames, biting onto the monsters ferociously!

Like a slumbering tiger waking up, the wrath of its claws shook the forest!
The huge Critical Hit figures left the others in shock and awe! Broken Blade's blood reservoir was filled with blood while it drew a huge arc in the air. As the ice crystals formed on it ruptured, all the Evil Eye Avatars' bodies were being torn apart instantly!

Lin Jie immediately sat down to restore his health. Though a Berserker's attack output was very high, he had to wait for a very long cooldown time before he could launch his next attack! During the cooldown period, he would have to be very cautious.
By killing the Evil Eye Avatars, the Boss' health bar had also dropped by about 50,000 points. It began to enter the second stage, or what players would jokingly call the 'throwing of eyeballs'!
In the Normal-level dungeon, the Evil Eye would drop three eyeballs every 10 seconds, and the Warrior jobs could use the Counter Attack type of skills to throw them back to Evil Eye. Each successful hit on Evil Eye would cause 1,000 damage. Once 100,000 damage was attained, Evil Eye would enter its third and final stage.
As they were now in the Expert-level dungeon, the difficulty levels were increased to the extent which caught the team off guard!
”In the Expert-level dungeon, the Boss will drop 30 black and white eyeballs every 10 seconds! It hurts a lot if the black eyeballs hit you, and you will lose health points. When you use skills to hit the white eyeballs back, it can cause 500 Damage points to the Boss. Once we accumulate 100,000 damage points, the Boss will enter the final stage—this remains the same.” recalled Lin Jie as he informed his teammates.
”Now, everyone must go look for a spot to dodge the eyeballs. Breathless, we get ready to fight.” There was no other way, as there were only two Warrior type jobs in the team.
Everyone rushed to find their most favorable spots. Mixed Breathless nodded and entered battle mode, ready to meet the eyeballs.

A huge shadow covered them, and 30 eyeballs fell down from the top! 27 were black, only three were white!
Everyone present was a gaming veteran, and they immediately understood that their team should aim to hit the white eyeballs!
Other than Mixed Breathless and Lin Jie, everyone else started dodging as fast as possible—there was no need for further reminders! Lin Jie and Mixed Breathless looked at each other, and both rushed to hit back the white eyeballs.

However, as he did not calculate the distance properly when he activated the Reflective Shield skill, the white eyeball had already fallen to the ground!
He furrowed his brows, and couldn't help but let out a bitter smile. 'Why is there such a big gap between us?'
”Breathless, don't be dejected, take your time to perfect your skills. The trick is to be careful of the direction where you fling the eyeball, and you have to control precisely when to cancel your skill.” As Lin Jie dodged the black eyeballs, he caught sight of Mixed Breathless' expression and commented, ”When you are using Forward Charge to get to the white eyeball, use a basic action to cancel your skill.”
The second wave of eyeballs was coming!
Mixed Breathless took heed of Lin Jie's advice and brightened up. He aimed at one of the white eyeballs and activated Forward Charge! It looked like his steel-like figure couldn't stop in time… yet at the last minute, he rolled onto the ground and canceled his skill forcibly! Activating Reflective Shield, he slammed his shield onto the white eyeball, and a crisp sound was heard as it bounced back!
There was no change to the Boss' health bar, as the white eyeball had missed it!
Though Lost Camel was busy dodging the black eyeballs, he still managed to squeeze out a comment when he saw what happened. ”Heck! Where did the eyeball go to?”

The eyeball that Mixed Breathless hit was nowhere to be seen, but the other two eyeballs which Lin Jie hit bounced straight back to the Evil Eye at the same time!

Mixed Breathless' pupils shrank. 'He alone was in charge of two eyeballs, yet he never missed anything!'
An uncomfortable feeling enshrouded him as Mixed Breathless sped up and prepared for his next attack!
The third wave of eyeballs was dropped! Mixed Breathless learned his lesson, ignored the teasing from Lost Camel, and used a basic action to cancel his skill at the nick of time and made another successful hit! This time round, he seemed more proficient, but the rebounded white eyeball still missed its target as he had not used the correct amount of force!
Meanwhile, Lin Jie successfully rebounded the other two white eyeballs again!
